Microsoft Access 2007 Interface Overview
1. Ribbon Interface
The Ribbon interface organizes commands into groups under various tabs such as Home,
Create, External Data, and Database Tools.
2. Navigation Pane
The Navigation Pane is on the left side of the screen, allowing users to access tables, queries,
forms, and reports easily.
3. Quick Access Toolbar
The toolbar above the Ribbon provides shortcuts to frequently used commands like Save, Undo,
and Redo.
4. Database Objects
The key database objects include:
Tables: Used for storing data.
Queries: For searching and retrieving specific data.
Forms: For data entry and viewing.
Reports: For summarizing and printing data.

5. Status Bar
The Status Bar is at the bottom of the window, showing the current view and allowing quick
access to view modes like Datasheet or Design.
