Concrete Hollow Blocks are
classified as bearing and non-
bearing blocks
MASONRY
Load bearing blocks are used to
carry load side from its own weight.
Non-bearing blocks on the other
MASONRY hand, are blocks which are intended
for walls, partitions, fences or
dividers carryings its own weight
In computing the required materials
for CHB works, the estimator has to
consider the following items:
1. Quantity of the CHB

for plastering
