Research is collecting data and information, learning and

Here are the three methods of research:

Qualitative Method
This is a method that focuses on numbers, objective hard
date. It proves hyphotheses by statistical analysis and
scientific method. It is called a formal, objective systematic
process in which numerical data is used to obtain information
about the world. It is used to describe variables. It examines
relationship among variables.
Example is a drug abuser telling how many pills they
consume per week.

Quantitative Method
It is the uses words instead a numbers to display data. It
focuses on feeling not numerical data. Small amount of
participants involved in a quantitative research study. This
kind of research method utilized interviews, archived written
information, and observation to measure the significance of
relationship between variables.
Example is a drug user telling you how they feel about
abusing drugs.

Mixed Methods

research in order to answer your research question. Mixed
methods can help you gain a more complete picture than a
standalone quantitative or qualitative study, as it integrates
benefits of both methods.
