General Guidelines:
1. Form a group of either 8 or 12 members. Write as a reply your group members to
the posting of this activity guide.

2. Once your group is formed, divide the four primary sources among your members.
Each topic will be assigned to a subgroup consisting of 2 or 3 members as follows:
o Subgroup 1: First Voyage Around the World
o Subgroup 2: KKK and the Kartilya
o Subgroup 3: Proclamation of the Philippine Independence
o Subgroup 4: Aquino’s Inaugural Speech

4. Each subgroup must critically analyze their assigned text and complete the analysis
template on A4-sized paper together with the rubric. Use the given template below.
Be prepared to present your findings to your larger group during our face-to-face
session.

o Deadline:
 February 2 – HM1B and ID1A
 February 3 – HM1A
o The entire group must submit a single Word document compiling all
subgroup analyses. Submit here.
o File Name Format: [Section]_[Group Representative's Name]
o No analysis, no reporting, no grade. I need to review your analysis to
ensure its accuracy. If your analysis is incorrect or incomplete, you will not be
allowed to participate in the face-to-face discussion to prevent misinformation.
o Include the names of all group members and specify the topics assigned
to each subgroup/member in your final document.
