21 • The orientation started at 9:00 am and was facilitated by Sr. Ma. Rosalina T.

27 • Sr. Ma. Rosalina T. Manwales, ADM, opened the meeting with the following
28 agenda:

30 1. ESC- Educational Service Contracting for Grade 7 Students:
31 o Sr. Rose T. Manwales, ADM, stated that students will receive a
32 guaranteed government subsidy for four years.
33 o The annual subsidy amount is 9,000.
34 o ECS grantees must remain enrolled in the same school to continue
35 receiving the subsidy; transfers or withdrawals will affect eligibility.
36 o The school will encode all the credentials of ECS grantees for
37 processing and approval, with updates made each school year.
38 o Parents will be responsible for a miscellaneous fee of four thousand
39 one hundred fifty (4,150) each school year. This fee can be paid
40 monthly of four hundred fifteen (415).
41 o Sr. Rose, assured parents that any additional school expenses must
42 be communicated to and approved by the administration beforehand.
43 o Grade 7 students will receive one set of school uniforms free of charge.
44 o A total of 100 students applied, of whom 96 were accepted.
45 Unfortunately, the remaining 4 applicants were disapproved due to the
46 late submission of required documents.

48 2. HOW TO SELECT ESC GRANTEES:
49 o Graduates from both public and private elementary schools.
50 o Students passed all the subject areas.
51 o ALS (Alternative Learning System) students are eligible to avail of ESC
52 grants.
53 o Students who are committed to continuing their studies.
54 o Students who have the ability to pass all subjects and are eager and
55 interested in learning.
56 o Students who are capable of covering other miscellaneous school fees.
57 o Parents with a minimum wage income.

59 • Mrs. Thelma L. Sornito, the school registrar, provided important
60 announcements and reminders for parents:
61 o The school registrar will handle all paperwork and credentials related to
62 ESC grantees.
63 o Grade 7 students must submit the original report card, a certificate of
64 low income, a 2x2 ID picture, and a PSA birth certificate before
65 September 2024.
66 o Students from private schools must submit their ESC certificate .
