IMPORTING LUTS TO DESKTOP

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to import your LUTs to


DaVinci Resolve on desktop:

1. Open DaVinci Resolve and navigate to the "Color" panel.


2. At the top left corner, click the "LUTs" panel.
3. Right-click anywhere on the panel and click "Reveal in
finder/explorer".
4. Click and drag your LUT folder into this group. Close this
window.
5. Right-click anywhere on the LUT panel again and click
"refresh". If this doesn't work, close and reopen Resolve.

6. Your LUTs should now appear. Create a new node and simply
click and drag the LUT onto the node.

Note: As it's a little awkward to find in Resolve, we'll show you


how you can control the intensity of the LUT. First, click the "Key"
button. Under "Key Output", decrease the "Gain" value.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to import your LUTs to Adobe


Premiere Pro on desktop:

1. Open Premiere Pro and navigate to the "Lumetri" panel.


2. Select the "Input LUT" dropdown menu and click "Browse."
3. Navigate to the folder where you have saved your LUTs and
select the LUTs you want to import.
4. Reopen the application and your LUTs should have appeared.
Simply click and drag your chosen LUT onto an adjustment
layer or straight onto your clip, and you're ready to go.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to import your LUTs to Final


Cut Pro on desktop:

1. In the Info inspector, click the Custom LUT drop-down


section, and select “Choose Custom LUT.”
2. Click the Camera LUT pop-up menu and choose "Add Custom
LUT."
3. In the window that appears, navigate to the LUT folder you
want to import, and select it.
4. Reopen the application and your LUTs should have appeared.
Simply click and drag your chosen LUT onto an adjustment
layer or straight onto your clip, and you're ready to go.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to import your LUTs to


LumaFusion on mobile.

Go to the "Color & Effects" editor.


Double-tap on any video/photo clip on the timeline to open it
into the Clip Editors.
Tap on the Color & Effects tab at the bottom of the "Clip
Editor" UI.
You'll find the import button just below the library of effect
presets.

Other mobile apps:

Due to the vast number of mobile video editing apps available,


it is not possible for us to provide instructions for importing
LUTs into all of them in this guide.

However, the methods for importing LUTs into mobile apps


are often similar. If you are using a mobile app that is not
Lumafusion, it is recommended to check online for
instructions on how to import your LUTs into your app.

The information provided in this guide is based on commonly used
versions of DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro &
LumaFusion. If these methods do not work for your specific
software version, it is recommended to check other sources online
as different versions may have an impact on the placement and
naming of the buttons and panels.

LUTs look super flat or distorted?


Our LUTs were designed for REC709 footage. If you shot your
footage in LOG, be sure to convert it using your camera provider's

free conversion LUT, or the conversion LUTs built into your


editing software.

LUTs not giving desired results?


LUTs are not always a one-click solution. You may need to tweak
basic adjustments such as exposure & white balance, as well as the
overall intensity of the LUT if the look is too strong. You will also
need to correct skin tones by isolating them and changing the
color until they look natural, as our creative LUTs will most likely
have an impact on the appearance of the skin.
