Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences as student hereby affirm that I have accept all the rules, regulations,
statutes orders and instructions of the University and undertake to abide by the following:-
1. On admission to the privilege of a student I shall undertake to abide by the following:-
a. That during my stay in the University I shall diligently apply myself to develop the skills necessary
for the practice and advance of the field of my study, in which I am enrolled.
b. I shall participate fully and whole heartedly in sports, games, extra-curricular activities as would be
compatible with my physical traits and mental aptitude.
c. I shall have minimum attendance of 75% in order to qualify for sitting in the examination.
d. I shall maintain identity as a student of the University by wearing the dress/badge as may be
prescribed by the University.
e. I shall never use violence or threat of violence or pressure and in case of any dispute with others, all
means and methods shall only be logic, persuasion, petition, appeal, revision, review and other
legal and peaceful methods for the settlement of difference and dispute.
f. That in case of a dispute, if any fellow students or teachers or employees of the University, shall
accept the judgment of the authorities constituted by the University for decision or settlement of the
wrong doers.
g. That I shall abide by all the provisions of the statutes, regulations and rules enforced in the
University or the statutes, regulations and rules as may hereafter be framed by the appropriate
authority of the University.
h. I shall not carry with me any objectionable material in the examination hall and shall volunteer to
be searched, if necessary before entering examination hall.
i. I shall make up all the losses of the University and its employees/students, caused by me directly
or indirectly.
2. Further, I undertake to refrain from:-
a. Doing any thing which may cause injury or insult to Heads of Departments, Teachers, Officers and
other staff of the University;
b. Holding a gathering or meeting, taking out procession in any part of University campus other than
areas specified for the purpose;
c. Indulge in any kind of unfair means, malpractice in examination and coercion by any means;
d. Allowing or abetting the entry, to the premises of University, of expelled students, anti-social
elements or other groups, presence of whom on the campus should cause conflict amongst the
students.
e. Bringing into the campus, consuming or encouraging consumption of alcoholic products, drugs and
narcotics, and indulging in acts of moral turpitude.
f. Bringing to or keeping any type of weapons or explosives within the University premises;
g. Using or occupying any room or part of any building or the institution without lawful authority.
h. Misusing and damaging any University property, including building, equipments, vehicles etc. in
any manner.
i. Political, religious/ethnic and anti state activities.
j. From all such acts and deeds as might bring discharge and bad name of the University rules.
3. I understand that Breach of any above instruction will make me liable for suitable disciplinary action against me
according to University rules.
4. I further undertake to abide by the Statutes and Regulations relating first degree awarded by the University and other
rules and regulations framed by the University from time to time.
5. I also undertake that if I am found involved in any unlawful activity/ providing incorrect information at any stage of
study or violating the above declaration, the University shall have the right to cancel my admission without assigning
any reason.
