Preamble:
" Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, launched on October 2, 2014, is a nationwide campaign by the Government of
India aimed at promoting cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene across the country. This initiative seeks to
eliminate open defecation, manage solid waste, and promote the adoption of sanitary practices, thereby
improving the overall quality of life for citizens. By fostering community participation and awareness, the
Swachh Bharat mission aims to create a cleaner and healthier environment, ultimately contributing to the
nation's sustainable development. "
Objective:
1. Enhance Awareness: To educate and raise awareness among citizens about the importance of
cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene for individual and community health.
2. Community Participation: To engage local communities, including women, youth, and children, in
cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and sanitation-related activities.
3. Solid Waste Management: To promote effective waste management practices, including
