INTRODUCTON
This BANQUET BOOKING SYSTEM was made based on banquet system requirements. The
system can encode customer information. Banquet Manager can have access to the customer
status and information for important transaction such as availability, booking and payment. They
can handle the data needed in managing customer and inventory data as well as the transactions
made during the associated events.
The features included in the BANQUET BOOKING System diagram were the security and
monitoring of the customer records, transactions and status. These features were also listed and
recorded in reports that served as the history of transactions done in the system.

Objective
The main objective of a front-office system for a banquet hall manager, is to maximize the
revenue, streamline operations. The features included in the

(i) Saves time and money.


(ii) Reduces the paper and register work.
(iii) Facility of searching nearby good service provider.
(iv) Get an Insight about quality of service.
(v) Helps in comparing prices.
(vi) Front desk of Banquet Booking/Cancellation/Inventory.
(vii) Centralized data management.
(viii) User Friendly working operations for front desk staff and administrator/manager

PROJECT CATEGORY

This project as title “Banquet Boking System” is comes under the Relational

Database Management System (RDBMS). This application is developed with the

help of HTML,CSS,JAVASCRIPT,IQUERY,JSP and MySql. This application can

also be run on the web server and hosting space as live application.

REQUIREMENT HARDWARE & SOFTWARE


ANALYSIS

The analysis of the system from the starting of the understanding and working of the project is
system requirement analysis. The requirements those are necessary to successfully carry out the
project. We came to know that the project is to be implemented on

1.1 Client Side Requirements :-


 Language- HTML,CSS,Javascript,JQuery,AJAX,JSP/Servlet

 Operating System- Windows,Mac OS,Linux

 Hardware- Minimum Pentium IV Processor, RAM 2GB,HDD 80 GB

1.2 Server Side Requirements: -


 Language-Java JSP/Servlet

 Database- MySQL

 Framework- Netbeans-13

 Programming Pattern- AJAX API and JQUERY

 Hardware- 1024 MB memory and 2 virtual CPU* (provided by Digital Ocean)

Feasibility Study
Feasibility Analysis involves the analysis which tells whether the project undertaken is possible
under various situations or circumstances. The feasibility analysis of the project is as follows:

Technical feasibility
The project undertaken involves develop and evaluation of an algorithm which is to be simulated
in a virtual environment. The technical resources are readily available for the project with all
other necessary resources.

 Banquet Booking
Banquet is the main feature of this system where Customer Manage the Data of Customer
and Date of Booking for events handling.
 Manage Reports
The banquet manager can manage the customers and inventory information such as
personal information, inventory for events as well as the booking types.
 Customer Hall Booking
This system handles the customer reservation which is the process to encode the
customer essential information in line to their reservation.
 Transaction and Reports Management
This feature will store the transactions made by the customers including their information,
payments and the reports every transactions and timetables.

LIMITATIONS
1. This project is only for web base execute on web-browser.

2. This project cannot install as window based application so setup of application as .exe
file does not exists.

3. A user needs internet connection to use this application to search Hotel, Compare the
Price of Hotels,Booking/Cancel.

4. This product is customer based application so needs publicity and exposer to customer so
expensive.

5. This application requires a high cost server well configured with huge storage of MySql
database.
