In 2018, my niece was diagnosed with kidney failure, and she underwent a series of dialysis
treatments. The Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) and COMMO Abadilla, the former
Director of the Philippine Red Cross and PCGA, played a crucial role in her treatment. They
allowed us to purchase the necessary blood bags without the need for a blood donor, giving us
hope for her recovery. Seeing my niece graduate from primary education with highest honors is
a testament to the impact of their selfless service.

As I look at my niece, I am reminded of the importance of the PCG and PCGA's work. I believe
that God redirected me to continue serving with this organization, not just to give back to those
