I. INTRODUCTION:
MC1: To the supportive members of the Board of Trustees headed by __________, to our very inspiring
School Principal, __________, to our academically inclined students, to our proud parents, to our very
hardworking teachers,
BOTH: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, GOOD MORNING!
MC2: “Education is not received. It is achieved.” A quotation fit for this occasion especially to all students here
who will receive their certificates and awards this morning. Recognition Day is the culmination of all hard work
and a year of study. It is the day when the students can say, "I've done it".
MC1: It is a milestone in their lives. It is also a day when they gather and celebrate success. It is the most
important date in the academic calendar as it is the time when faculty and staff can gather with the students to
celebrate their academic achievement. Remember that each recognition day is not the end but a new
beginning to a new horizon of their career.
MC2: This time of the month is one of the most awaited months on the part of the students as well as their
parent. These students who gave their very best to achieve something they dreamed of and most specially to
make their parents proud; and also, to the proud parents who gave their greatest effort and support to their
children, who struggle with them physically, emotionally and of course financially.
II. OPENING PRAYER, NATIONAL ANTHEM, & HYMNS:
MC1: To formally begin this program, may I request everyone to please stand and feel the presence of our
Lord for the opening prayer to be led by one of our faculty members, _____________.

III. OPENING REMARKS
MC1: Today is the milestone that marks the culmination of all hard work that our learners have poured out for
almost a year. This is the day that we, the faculty and staff, your parents, relatives, and friends gather with you
to celebrate your academic achievement and success. Recognition day is one of the most significant date in
our academic calendar for this is the day that our students can finally say to themselves, “I have nailed it and
my industry and consistency of prioritizing my education are well paid off.”
MC2: The way to achieve your own success is to be willing to help somebody else get it first. I do believe that
the secret behind this momentous event is because of our diligent students, their very encouraging parents,
their dedicated teachers who have rendered their invaluable service by guiding these students into the right
path, and also to our very active Academic Coordinator who shared his understanding and willingness to help
in every way that he can.

IV. AWARDING OF MEDALS TO HONOR STUDENTS
MC1: Many wants to be recognized, but a few are worthy of recognition. They are worthy of this recognition
because these students work hard for it. It is time for us to give credit for their achievement and to
acknowledge them for a job well done because a person who feels appreciated will always do more than what
is expected.
MC2: Without further ado, let us move on to the most awaited part of this event, the presentation of the
awardees. At this juncture, to award the medals and certificates of recognition to our honor students, may we
have on stage the President of our Board of Trustees, _________________ to be assisted by the members of

dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader, a leader who can inspire and lead
everyone who is willing to give their very best for their own success.

VI. RECESSIONAL
MC1: Education doesn’t stop the day you received your award; it is only a beginning to do better. This day

MC2: Before we all go, we would like to give you this short message, “An investment in knowledge always
