Reimagine mHealth for member wellness and retention
Ways to retain members & drive wellness via mHealth
Hi XYZ.
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Health, NJ and I am looking to connect with you.
As the US healthcare industry shifts its focus from volume to value, organizations, payer and
provider alike, are trying to minimize their risk exposure and improve business viability. While an
aspect of quality is addressed within the boundaries of the provider organization, a greater spread
needs to be covered beyond that by empowering patients for self-care. This is motivating Payers to
leverage Mobile + Consumer Engagement technology to improve health outcomes through
informed decision making & behaviors by both the patients & their care teams; encouraging people
to get actively involved in their well-being. Unsurprisingly, mobile technology is at the core of most
current & successful interactive health services, strengthening Consumer Engagement.
Healthier & engaged consumers: Empower with education & greater connectedness
Lower health & business risks: Insights into real-time device data & habits
Customer Service: AI powered capabilities reducing call/request volumes
Customer Retention: Social determinants & behavioral data analytics
You know your business best and we know technology best. Our ability to integrate data from
diverse sources, familiarity with care flows and rich experience with healthcare technology positions
us well to help you build a tailored solution in-line with your business objectives. If you are looking
to engage your consumers effectively, a conversation might be a logical next step.
Let me know if this resonates with your vision and maybe we can set up some time on our
calendars.

Hi XYZ,
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Healthcare, NJ and I am looking to connect with you.
As the US healthcare system gravitates towards value based care, waves of change won’t be
confined to the clinicians. As the transition becomes more tangible & complete, RCM players will
have their own share of it. While providers feel the heat of changes in the clinical context, it might
be naive to expect latitude from them when it comes to their reimbursements. So, billing solution
and service providers are forced to reinvent their solutions and adapt to this change. Thus, RCM
vendors are optimizing their workflows & improving the value generated by Shifting the Gears on
their solution.
There is no silver bullet when it comes to RCM. As these challenges have scaled with time, it will
take some to get past those as well. At Nalashaa, we have been helping players across the
healthcare ecosystem optimize operations through technology. With an RCM transformation, you
too can service more customers better, help them get more money while making life a little easier
for your billers.
We can help you dismantle your problems with an uplift, or may be transform it altogether. If you
would like to find ways to do that, I can put something on the calendar to discuss!

4. Care coordination
Hi XYZ ,
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Health, NJ and I am looking to connect with you.
Traditional EHRs weren’t designed to cater to scenarios outside the purview of healthcare facilities.
As VBC shifts the focus from providers to patients, there is a need to adopt a customer relationship
outlook just like other industries. It implies a shift from solution ‘features’ to aspects such as
preemptive care, outreach, CRM, usability among other things.
You know your business best and we know technology best. At Nalashaa, we have been helping
players across the healthcare ecosystem optimize operations through technology. With multiple
avenues worthy of improvements, you too can service more customers better with technology
innovations, making life calmer for the care teams.
We can help you chalk a transition roadmap to uplift the experience with process automations, or
may be transform it altogether. If you would like to find ways to do that, I can put something on the
calendar to discuss!

Sub -
Hi XYZ ,
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Health, NJ and I am looking to connect with you.
Most CTOs and Product managers build roadmaps to bring in greater predictability for everyone.
Budgets and timelines often drive partnerships that promise the superlative. However, as novelty
wears off, challenges related to quality, timeliness, supervision etc. surface.
In our past relationships with ISVs we have demonstrated that it need not be so. The litmus test of a
s/w development partnership is the effort that you have to put in to make things work.
Ownership: Teams doing what they are ‘told’ to do instead of what they ‘ought’ to do
Responsiveness: A lot of your time spent on follow-ups or waiting for
information/deliverables
Transparency: No way for you to get the exact picture of execution, despite asking for it
Attention/Mindshare: Evident through waiting time for updates, absence of innovation or
the ‘wow’ factor
Ease of management: Too many meetings, too much firefighting, too little peace
Building solutions is easy, building delightful products that beat quality benchmarks requires skill.
With a broad array of services, we help ISVs achieve that while keeping the execution simple and
transparent so that they don’t have to sweat it out.
If you would like to explore the possibilities, I can put something on the calendar to discuss!

Hi XYZ ,

Regular technology progression has left most CTOs & Product owners focus on jazz rather than the
fundamental hygiene factors that should be addressed for efficient business continuity. Lack of
quantifiable metrics for eminence & marketability is a seldom vocalized concern which technology
leaders are now learning to live with. Therefore, release deadlines, quality deliverables, execution
governance & culpability becomes a daunting exercise that ought to be an indicator of a much
severer root. Having lived with partners fronting such fiascos, we have had our own learnings that
have aided us to chalk out mitigation plans & eloquently actuate your Product Engineering.

7. AS400 Support
Hi XYZ
I am Joseph Thomas with Nalashaa Solutions. I am reaching out to understand how you are currently
maintaining your AS400 system.
Technology evolution has left robust solutions built on legacy technologies such as RPG/AS400
struggling. These systems seldom see elementary concerns, however the staff that built & is
maintaining these systems have retired or are on the verge of. Finding qualified people to keep the
show running is a nightmare many organizations face. This poses business continuity risk as fixes or
enhancements introduced can bring operations to a screeching halt. While replacing green-screens
is a long term endeavor, efficient RPG/AS400 Support is an imminent priority.
Our exposure in supporting legacy applications while paving the way for modernization, positions us
well to equip you for the future. If you can connect your current organizational situation with the
above & would like to ease yourself out of it, drop us a line and we would love to talk to you.

Businesses across industries are questioning their cost structures for a sustained competitive edge.
To improve responsiveness and reduce labor costs, organizations are looking to automate business
processes involving volume processing. Many popular avenues include customer service, invoice
processing, reconciliations, updates to partner systems among many others.
Using, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) your heterogeneous systems can be stitched seamlessly in
one process without any change to the underlying systems. It performs the same tasks (keystrokes
and clicks) as a human would using the same decision-making constructs but with great speed,
tirelessly.
Non-invasive: No interference with the ‘code’ of your systems. It operates on top of those.
No prerequisites: No bearing on what your systems look like or how they work
Process consistency: By virtue of automation, repeatability and accuracy are implicit
Responsiveness: 24 x 7 x 365 availability without fatigue implies immediate response to
events
Economics: Substitution of manual labor yields quick tangible savings, immediately
Scalability: Cyclical peak loads can be serviced just through cloning bots
We realize that you know your business context better. Similarly we understand automation how
best it can be leveraged by businesses. We can help you identify the right processes, choose the
right tools and achieve automation.
If you would like to find ways to do that, I can put something on the calendar to discuss!

Hi XYZ,
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Healthcare, NJ and I am looking to connect with you.
Businesses in the logistics industry, given the razor-thin margins, strive for faster and cheaper
operations for sustained competitive edge. Both these reasons are their motivation for business
processes automation. The huge volume of transactions and information flow demands substitution
of human labor with automation, to drive scalability, speed and better economics.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can stitch your heterogeneous systems seamlessly in one process
without changing the underlying systems. It performs the same tasks (keystrokes and clicks) as a
human would using the same decision-making constructs but with great speed, tirelessly.
Shipments: Scheduling, tracking, reconcile inventory, updating status across systems, send
alerts/notifications
Orders: Receive, route, update CRM, trigger workflows for an automated Quote to cash
cycle
Finance & Accounts: Vendor Invoice processing, Payments, reconciliations, P&L updates,
Expense/reimbursement management
Customer service: Outreach, call/chat support, Service quality monitoring, preemptive
maintenance
Sales & Marketing: Lead nurturing, customer onboarding, invoicing
and more…
We realize that you know your business context better. Similarly we understand automation how
best it can be leveraged by businesses. We can help you identify the right processes, choose the
right tools and achieve automation.
If you would like to find ways to do that, I can put something on the calendar to discuss!

As CMS sprints towards a care of value model, it has mandated Clinical Quality Language (CQL), starting
2019 submissions. CQL allows HIT vendors to offer wider quality measures without painful programming
as quality measures evolve. In addition, plugging seamlessly into Clinical Decision Support, it eliminates
CDS configuration effort. With QPP’s focus on quality, CQL is a boon for providers to propel quality
scores. However, HIT vendors need to ensure that embracing CQL doesn’t become a nightmare during
provider submissions.
What next?
Familiarity with the Clinical Workflows, Quality Measures & Data modelling would be the key
constituents for this new approach to quality measures. Experience in working with our partners has
helped us analyze CQM workflows and this experience would weigh-in when you are understanding and
prioritizing the migration to CQL. If you are working towards achieving this compliance or it is expected
to fall in your upcoming roadmap, a conversation might be a rational next step.
Let me know your thoughts & we can setup some time on our calendars.

Hi XYZ
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Healthcare, NJ & I wanted to connect with you.
For the past decade US HIT vendors have been wedged between CMS rulings, Provider expectations
and the competition. With VBC & consumerism, care providers’ expectation from software vendors
has geared towards intelligent, interoperable systems with greater degree of automation and
superior user experience. With providers fighting the noble battle against COVID, opportunities exist
for HIT vendors to prepare their battle plans.
At Nalashaa Healthcare, we have been helping HIT vendors engineer healthcare solutions. With
experience across Patient-Provider applications, integration standards, Patient Engagement & VBC
analytics, we understand US healthcare and technology. Our geographically distributed teams
accelerate your time to market while lowering business continuity risk, like the one we see today.

For a lot of HIT vendors time has come to a standstill, not for the CMS. Refined and changed over
the last couple of years, the 21 st Century Cures Act final rule is out with sharpened teeth. Unlike the
previous regulations impacting CEHRT, this one has a much wider and deeper impact, possibly much
larger than MU3.
With a string of past CEHRT certifications and our analysis of Cures Act since its inception, we

15. RPA – Manufacturing
Flavor 1
Hi, XYZ,
While globalized supply chains have coerced most manufacturing units into adopting physical
robots for core manufacturing ops, automation hasn’t really percolated to the back office.
Processes such as invoice processing, procurement, BoM, Inventory Management, vendor
communication, AP/AR and book keeping are still dependent on people. In current times, with
those very people at risk, business continuity and responsive is compromised.
We have helped businesses such as yours inject automation there to seize this opportunity to
grow faster while being lean using, Robotic Process Automation (RPA). With that, your
heterogeneous systems can be stitched seamlessly in one process without any change to the
underlying systems. It performs the same tasks (keystrokes and clicks) as a human would using

We realize that you know your business context better. Similarly we understand how
automation can be leveraged best in business processes. We can help you identify the right

16. Information Blocking - Hospitals
Sub – Cures Act, Info. Blocking and more – Road to compliance for providers
Hi XYZ,
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Healthcare, NJ & I wanted to connect with you regarding
the latest rules from ONC and the CMS.
With the Cures Act in action, two rules – ONC Final rule and the Interoperability & Patient Access
rule demand compliance. As most health systems use a multitude of systems, their individual
interoperability capability will not help. With serious repercussions for non-compliance, this is a
priority for most hospital systems. I was wondering if it’s the same with you.
Regulatory mandate
Compliance with these requirements, may demand capabilities overarching individual solutions you
many have. Our experience with interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7 position us well to
help you get past the hump.
If this resonates with your current objectives, maybe we can connect over a quick call to assess the
possibilities.

Sub – Health Plans on FHIR – Comply with the new CMS rule
Hi XYZ,
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Healthcare. We are headquartered in Edison, New Jersey.
I wanted to connect with you regarding the latest rule for health plans from CMS.
With the Cures Act in action, the Interoperability & Patient Access rule seeks to inject
interoperability into payer systems. The new standards (FHIR/USCDI) and relevant APIs could be
huge challenges to overcome, what with their underlying technical demands. With serious
repercussions for non-compliance, this is a priority for most health plans. I wanted to check if this is
a top priority item for <your organization> and you too.
Regulatory mandate
Compliance with these requirements, while staying HIPAA compliant demands experience with
interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, USCDI and other related considerations. Our
knowledge of these and the US healthcare ecosystem renders us well-positioned to help you get
past the finish line.
If this is a current priority for you, we could arrange for a call, where we bounce off thoughts and
assess potential areas of collaboration.

Universities and colleges have started adopting RPA to eliminate lot of labor & paperwork from school
administration to develop more modern, sophisticated administrative operations. Activities such as
Tracking Payments, Candidate shortlisting, Course Registration & Student On-boarding, Student
Attendance, vendor communication, Student grading & assessment are still dependent on people. In
current times, with those very people at risk, business continuity and responsive is compromised.

With Regards,
Hi XYZ,
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Healthcare, NJ & I wanted to connect with you regarding
ways to drive clinical and operational excellence through effective data engineering.
With evolving reimbursement models and stringent quality expectations, provider and payer
organizations are both forced to harness an erstwhile latent source of profitability – data. Many
have taken some steps in that direction but see their dreams getting rolled over each quarter. With
the cures act, there might exist new frontiers to explore and address challenges that organizations
face today in their data landscape.
Higher STAR/HEDIS ratings - Enabling preventive care, decision support, evidence-based care
and more
Better Clinical Quality scores - By closing gaps in Care, Clinical documentation, patient tracking
etc.
Lower Operations - Through better Utilization, resource allocation, risk-identification and
effective outreach

there might be some synergy between us.
Let me know if the above resonates with your imminent needs and may help you plan for
budgets better for next year.

Hi XYZ,
I am Joseph Thomas, Director at Nalashaa Healthcare, NJ and I am looking to connect with you.
With the pandemic drawing a new normal, most HIT vendors' roadmaps took a hit in 2021 due
to the unforeseen uncertainty. Now, with shock element out, for 2022, accelerated time to
market, risk diversification and cost optimization are the focus for most.
Usually, budgets and timelines determine partnerships, that often promise the superlative. Now
with hope and normalcy on the horizon, HIT vendors will find a more determined competition
staring at them. Dependable, competent partnerships will be imperative for them to thrive.
Doing more with less is going to be the likely theme.
If you would like to explore the possibilities, I can put something on the calendar to discuss!

CMS regulations over the past decade has steered most CTOs & Product owners' focus away
from innovation and customer centricity. Lack of quantifiable metrics of execution and tangible
quality is a seldom vocalized concern that technology leaders living with. As the world awakes to
hope and normalcy in 2022, doing more with less, quickly will be the mantra. This requires a
shift in the Product Engineering philosophy and execution approach.

Hi XYZ,
I am Joseph Thomas with Nalashaa Solutions, NJ & I am looking to connect with you.
With the pandemic forcing businesses on the back-foot, most HIT vendors' roadmaps took a hit
in 2020-21. As the hibernation ends in 2022, demonstrable quality, accelerated time to market
and agility in execution will be the priority for most.
The victorious will be those willing to transform their approach to solution development. This
requires a shift in the Product Engineering philosophy and execution approach.
If you sense synergies here, some facetime this week may be helpful to multiply those!

Hi XYZ,
