Square Root and Cube Root

Square Root of x = √x
Example: √25 = 5, √81 = 9
Cube Root of x = ∛x
Example: ∛27 = 3, ∛64 = 4

2. Surds
√a * √b = √(a * b)
Example: √2 * √8 = √16 = 4, √3 * √12 = √36 = 6
√a / √b = √(a / b)
Example: √8 / √2 = √4 = 2, √50 / √2 = √25 = 5
(√a)^2 = a
Example: (√5)^2 = 5, (√9)^2 = 9

3. Area of Shapes
Area of Square = side * side
Example: side=4, Area=16; side=7, Area=49
Area of Rectangle = length * breadth
Example: l=5, b=3, Area=15; l=8, b=4, Area=32
Area of Triangle = (1/2) * base * height
Example: b=6, h=4, Area=12; b=10, h=5, Area=25
Area of Circle = π * r^2
Example: r=7, Area≈153.94; r=3, Area≈28.27

4. Volume of Shapes
Volume of Cube = side^3
Example: side=3, Volume=27; side=5, Volume=125
Volume of Cuboid = l * b * h
Example: l=4, b=3, h=2, Volume=24; l=5, b=2, h=3, Volume=30
Volume of Cylinder = π * r^2 * h
Example: r=3, h=5, Volume≈141.37; r=2, h=7, Volume≈87.96
Volume of Cone = (1/3) * π * r^2 * h
Example: r=3, h=4, Volume≈37.7; r=2, h=6, Volume≈25.13

5. Surface Area of Shapes

Surface Area of Cube = 6 * side^2
Example: side=2, Area=24; side=4, Area=96
Surface Area of Cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)
Example: l=2, b=3, h=4, Area=52; l=5, b=2, h=3, Area=62
Curved Surface Area of Cylinder = 2 * π * r * h
Example: r=3, h=5, Area≈94.25; r=2, h=7, Area≈87.96

6. Triangle Properties
Pythagoras Theorem: hypotenuse^2 = base^2 + height^2
Example: b=3, h=4, hypotenuse=5; b=5, h=12, hypotenuse=13
Heron’s Formula: √(s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)), s=(a+b+c)/2
Example: a=3, b=4, c=5, Area=6; a=5, b=6, c=7, Area≈14.7

7. Pyramid
Volume = (1/3) * Base Area * Height
Example: base=9, h=6, Volume=18; base=12, h=3, Volume=12
Surface Area = Base Area + (1/2) * Perimeter * Slant Height
Example: base=4, slant=5, Area=26; base=6, slant=5, Area=51

8. Symmetrical Shapes
Square, Equilateral Triangle are symmetrical.
Example: Square has 4 lines of symmetry; Equilateral triangle has 3.
9. Polygons
Sum of Interior Angles = (n - 2) * 180°
Example: n=5, Sum=540°; n=6, Sum=720°
Each Interior Angle (Regular Polygon) = ((n - 2) * 180°) / n
Example: n=5, Angle=108°; n=6, Angle=120°
