Introduction to Moodle

Moodle is an open-source learning management system that can be used to create


online courses and assessments. Educators can create or upload courseware, create
course assignments and use many features that enable them to interact with their
students. It is also a good platform for students to interact with their peers and their
facilitators. There are many Moodle plugins to explore. and a worldwide community of
collaborators who contribute to new Moodle features. Moodle can be tricky to set up,
but Leading Training can set up and host your Moodle system, and teach you how to
create courses. This course is a basic overview of Moodle and its layout and features.

Objectives
Moodle is a learner management system that provides a learning space for you to
design online courses with flexible content and collaborative activities so your students
are constantly experiencing feedback.

This course is an introduction to Moodle and covers the basic admin setup and main
features of adding users, creating a course, and uploading content.
