PREFACE

A project work is a practical work accomplished by the learner by


acquiring information and gaining experience from his surroundings.
Practical knowledge is more fruitful than theoretical knowledge and it
provides direct experience and long vision, for the person who does the
project as he involves himself in this activity. This develops his creativity
and divergent thinking.

The project work entitled “Computer Applications” is done to


inculcate the talent of computer programming and arouse interest in
software development in the mind of the student.
