51. Read this passage and use it to answer the questions that
follow in
full sentences.
My name is Lulu Michael. I am in primary seven at Budde Primary
School. Our school is located in the middle of Bulongo Sub-county. We
usually receive several visitors. Everyone is able to locate our school
because of the huge signpost planted along Kivu Road.

There are a number of things that make our school unique. First of all,
our school uniform is extremely beautiful. We are proud of the maroon
colour of our uniform. The boys wear long-sleeved maroon shirts and
grey shorts. And the girls come to school smartly dressed in maroon
dresses. Children from other schools always admire us when we meet
for sports events and music festivals.

Another thing we are proud of, are the metallic desks at which we sit
in classrooms. The pupils all sit comfortably to listen to our caring

5 P7 ENG MID TERM I 2025

teachers. Our school is home-away-from home. Each desk has a
locker where each pupil keeps their books.

The other thing we pride in, is our clean school compound. Our head
teacher has purchased waste baskets for each class. This has
promoted responsible living among the pupils. Every pupil voluntarily
picks the litter in the compound. It is a shame for a pupil to walk past
rubbish of any kind in our school. We have the cleanest school in
Luuka District.

Under the guidance of our teachers, we have planted trees and grass
in our school compound. And our school looks green ever. The parade
prefect shouts our school motto “Keeping My School Clean is My
Responsibility” whenever he stands to raise our green school flag.

I advise my fellow pupils in other schools to learn from ours.

Remember, we are the pillars of tomorrow’s Uganda.
