to connect with a global audience more easily and efficiently than ever before. Digital
marketing has become a vital part of modern business strategies, offering various tools
and techniques to promote products and services online. This shift from traditional to
digital marketing has been influenced by several factors. My interest in exploring new
trends and engaging with diverse audiences through digital channels inspired me to pursue
an internship in this exciting field. As businesses across different industries increasingly
invest in digital marketing to stay competitive, the field now covers a broad range of
activities, including search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, social media

and strategies utilized by experts in the field.
The author's involvement in the internship's tasks and projects, the skills and knowledge
she acquired, and the internship as a whole are all emphasized in the report. An examination
of the author's work's impact on the SEO performance of the website and the lessons
learned from the internship are also included in the report.

1.2. Problem Statement

• Low Online Visibility

Many businesses struggle to maintain a strong digital presence, resulting in limited reach and
reduced customer engagement.
• Weak Social Media Strategy
Inconsistent posting and lack of targeted content hinder audience growth and brand interaction on
social platforms.
• Poor SEO Implementation
Inadequate keyword optimization and technical SEO practices lead to low search engine rankings
and decreased organic traffic.
• Lack of Data-Driven Decisions
Limited use of analytics prevents effective evaluation of marketing campaigns, reducing
efficiency and ROI.
• Inconsistent Branding
Uneven brand messaging across platforms creates confusion and weakens overall brand identity.

1.3. Objectives

The objectives of the project are:

• To provide an opportunity for the intern to learn about various aspects of digital
marketing
• To gain practical experience in applying SEO techniques and strategies to
improve website visibility and search engine rankings.

optimized for both search engines and user experience.

1.4. Scope and limitation

1.4.1 Scopes:
The goal of this project is to apply digital marketing strategies—including SEO, content creation,
and social media management—to enhance online visibility and engagement for the organization.
Key focus areas include:
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implementation of on-page and off-page SEO
techniques to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
• Content Marketing: Creating engaging and informative content tailored to target audiences
to boost user engagement and support brand positioning.

for creative design, scheduling, and SEO analysis.
The primary objective is to equip me with hands-on experience in planning, executing, and
analyzing digital marketing strategies—laying a strong foundation for a career in this field.

1.4.2 Limitations:

• Platform Algorithm Changes: Constant updates in social media and search engine
algorithms can affect campaign consistency and visibility.
• Budget Constraints: Limited financial resources may restrict access to premium marketing
tools or paid promotions.
• Audience Targeting Limitations: Without advanced CRM or advertising platforms,
precision in targeting segmented audiences is reduced.
• Time Constraints: The internship duration may limit the ability to see long-term results of
SEO or brand campaigns.
• Experience Gaps: Advanced strategies in PPC (Pay-Per-Click), influencer marketing, or

Collaboration with designers, developers, and content specialists helped create unified and
impactful marketing efforts. The experience in this department strengthened my understanding of
real-world digital marketing practices and prepared me for future roles in the field.
Chapter 3: Background Study and Literature Review

3.1. Background Study:

The rapid expansion of the internet has significantly transformed the business landscape, enabling
companies to reach a global audience more efficiently than ever before. As a result, digital
marketing has emerged as an essential component of modern business strategies, providing various
tools and techniques to promote products and services online. The shift from traditional to digital
marketing has been driven by multiple factors, including evolving consumer behavior and
technological advancements. My enthusiasm for exploring emerging trends and engaging diverse
audiences through digital platforms motivated me to pursue an internship in this dynamic field.
With businesses across industries increasingly investing in digital marketing to remain competitive,
the field now encompasses a wide range of activities such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO),
content marketing, social media management, email marketing, and pay-per-click (PPC)
advertising.
This report highlights the experiences and insights gained during my Digital Marketing & SEO
internship. The internship provided an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and
gain hands-on knowledge of key SEO practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization,
link building, content marketing, and data analytics.
Throughout the internship, I worked on various digital marketing and SEO-related tasks such as
researching relevant keywords, optimizing website content and meta tags, building backlinks, and
analyzing website traffic and user behavior. Additionally, I gained practical experience with
industry-standard SEO tools and techniques used by professionals in the field.
This report provides a detailed account of my tasks and responsibilities during the internship, the
skills and knowledge I acquired, and the overall learning experience. It also evaluates the impact of
my work on the website’s SEO performance and outlines the key lessons learned throughout the
internship.
3.2 Current trend of the subject under study
In current years, Digital Marketing environment is constantly changing, with significant
trends like social media marketing, content marketing, SEO, and AI tools setting the
standard. Social Media Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok play a key role in
targeted advertising and customer engagement. Content marketing involves creating
valuable blogs, videos, and infographics to attract and retain customers. SEO improves
website visibility through keyword research and optimization, while AI tools offer data
analysis, personalization, and predictive insights, making marketing strategies more
effective and precise. Together, these trends make digital marketing more dynamic, data-
driven, and focused on customer needs.
SEO is an ever-evolving field, adapting to new technologies and trends. Currently, the
focus on user experience (UX) is critical, with Google prioritizing websites that are fast,
mobile-responsive, accessible, and user-friendly, leading to higher search rankings. Local
SEO is also increasingly important as smartphone users search for nearby businesses,
requiring optimized content and meta tags for better local visibility. Additionally, the rise
of voice assistants like Alexa and Siri has made voice search optimization crucial, with
businesses needing to use natural language and long-tail keywords. Staying updated with
these trends helps businesses remain competitive.
3.2. Literature Review:
The digital marketing landscape has seen profound changes in recent years, primarily driven by
technological innovation and evolving consumer preferences. These changes have urged businesses
—especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)—to embrace digital tools and strategies to
maintain a competitive edge.
A recent systematic review by Zamri et al. (2024) emphasizes the importance of digital marketing
in boosting SME performance. The research identifies 17 key factors influencing digital marketing
effectiveness, including website optimization, social media interaction, SEO practices, content
creation, email marketing, and PPC campaigns. Internal dynamics such as leadership and
organizational culture, as well as external variables like competition and digital infrastructure, are
shown to significantly influence strategy execution and success.
In the e-commerce sector, Sinaga et al. (2024) explore how the use of social media, content strategy,
and SEO contributes to business growth, particularly in the Indonesian market. The study finds that
these elements positively impact expansion by enhancing customer engagement—a critical factor in
sustaining growth in online retail environments.
Focusing on SEO specifically, Sechele et al. (2024) present findings that demonstrate how targeted
SEO strategies—such as optimized content, technical improvements, and strategic keyword use—
can significantly improve online visibility and traffic. However, they note that improved search
rankings do not always guarantee higher conversion rates, highlighting the importance of
integrating SEO with broader digital marketing efforts.
Additionally, social media marketing (SMM) remains a central component of digital engagement
strategies. Research by Salman and Kumar (2023) finds that platforms like Instagram and YouTube,
when used to share concise and informative content—especially in lifestyle, entertainment, and
health niches—can effectively boost consumer engagement. While the influence on brand loyalty
may be limited, sustained and creative SMM initiatives can play a vital role in nurturing long-term
customer relationships.
Taken together, these studies demonstrate that effective digital marketing requires a comprehensive
approach—one that blends SEO, quality content, and active social media presence to successfully
reach and retain audiences in a highly digital business environment.
Chapter 4: Analysis Of Activities Done And Problems Solved

4.1. Analysis of the Existing Information System/ Literature Review

Website design enhancement means "site improvement". Simply put, SEO is the process of making
a website more visible to people who are looking for products or services related to a company
(Third Door Media, Inc., 2022).
Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, and other search engines are just a few examples. The greater the
visibility of pages in search results, the greater the likelihood of attracting new customers and
retaining current ones.
Bing, an online search engine, had more than 7% of the global search market as of December 2021,
while Google, the market leader, had 85.55 percent. In the interim, Hurray's piece of the pie was
positioned at 2.85 percent of the all-out share (Johnson, 2022).
For the majority of internet users worldwide, search engines are the primary means of discovering
new brands. According to Kemp (2002), approximately 31.7% of participants reported discovering
new brands through online research.
The business's sales will rise significantly if it is optimized for search engines. It is a key piece of
computerized showcasing as individuals do endless inquiries on a regular premise. The business
can benefit greatly from increased visibility and a higher ranking in search results than its rivals
(Chhajer, 2022).
4.2. Problem of Existing System
The success of an SEO campaign is hampered by a number of issues with the project's current
systems. A portion of these issues include:
Poor Keyword Research: Keyword research is the cornerstone of a successful SEO campaign.
The current system lacked proper research and relied on out-of-date data, which could have led to
incorrect keyword targeting or missed opportunities.
Lack of Content Optimization: A lack of content optimization is another common issue. This
includes guaranteeing that site content is improved for web search tools, including meta
portrayals, title labels, headers, and inward connecting. The content was not properly optimized by
the current
system, which can result in lower rankings and less traffic.
Ineffective Link Building: Link building is an essential component of SEO, but it can be difficult
to execute properly. The existing system did not effectively identify relevant link building
opportunities, resulting in low-quality or irrelevant links.
Limited Analytics: Analytics are essential for tracking the success of an SEO campaign. The
existing system provided limited or inaccurate data, making it difficult to measure the success of
an SEO strategy and identify areas for improvement.
4.3. Description of the System under Study
SEO is a web-based platform that offers website owners and businesses SEO services. The platform
provides a variety of tools and services to clients in order to boost their online visibility, drive
traffic to their websites, and raise their search engine rankings.
A keyword research tool, a content optimization tool, a link building tool, and an analytics
dashboard are among the system's most important features. Clients can use these tools to track their
SEO performance over time, identify the most profitable keywords for their business, optimize
their website content for search engines, and build relevant, high-quality backlinks.
The system offers customized SEO strategies that are tailored to each client's specific requirements
and objectives in addition to these fundamental features. This incorporates an intensive Search
engine optimization review of their site, a cutthroat examination of their industry, and proposals
for working on their by and large internet based presence.
Additionally, the system employs a team of SEO specialists who collaborate closely with clients
to guarantee the effectiveness of their SEO strategy and its compatibility with the most recent
search engine algorithms and best practices. This includes keeping an eye on key performance
indicators like website traffic, keyword rankings, and other things to find ways to make things
better and work better.
4.4. Data Collection Method
The requirement for functional information is on the ascent and there is a developing interest for
precise and keen examinations. The primary goal of gathering information is to limit the effect
ofharms brought about by the absence of data. Ecstatic Minds Advanced additionally needs to
assemble functional information to more readily figure out their clients and the market. They can
make better decisions and boost their marketing performance by collecting high-quality data at a
lower cost. They will be able to expand and reach more customers as a result of this. Throughout
the project, a variety of data collection strategies were utilized, some of which are outlined below.

4.4.1 Interview and Questionnaire

In order to gather data, information, and requirements, both virtual and in-person interviews with
the organization supervisor and the site sponsor were carried out during the process of data
collection and various phases of the project. These interviews were conducted to discuss the
project's implementation of diverse marketing. The team's goal was to determine the most suitable
and efficient approaches to the project through these discussions.
The team asked a lot of questions to the supervisor and mentor throughout the project in order to
learn more about the company's digital marketing strategies and technology. In addition, questions
were posed to the chief technology officer and business manager to determine the most efficient
approach to developing the sensitive platform. To ensure that the project was developed in an
effective and efficient manner, the goal was to gain knowledge from their expertise and
experiences.

4.4.2 Secondary Sources

Not with standing essential sources, the group likewise investigated different auxiliary wellsprings
of information to assemble important data. Literature reviews, reports, article journals, websites,
blogs, and newspaper articles were among these secondary sources of data. In order to get a sense
of the current state of digital marketing and educational consultancies, extensive literature reviews
were conducted. As a result, the group was able to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the
sector as well as the most efficient project-specific strategies and procedures.
4.5 Functional Requirement of the Current System

Figure 2 Use Case Diagram

4.5.1 Use Case Diagram
4.6 4.6 4.6

4.6 Feasibility Study

A crucial step in creating a project plan is conducting a feasibility analysis. Typically, this analysis
is carried out during the project's preliminary investigation phase to determine the concept's
viability. The objective of this procedure is to ascertain the project's technical, financial,
operational, legal, and schedule viability. The team can determine the resources required to
complete the project and clarify the project's requirements by conducting a feasibility analysis. This
helps to make sure that the project is doable, that it can be done well, quickly, and within the
allotted budget and time frame.

4.6.1 Technical feasibility

The technical feasibility analysis looks at the resources, like software and hardware, that are
available to meet the needs of the users within the allotted amount of time and money. The primary
goal of this evaluation is to make sure that the updated and integrated system can work with the
facilities that are already in place and connect with its suppliers. Because the resources required
for online optimization are readily available, it can be confidently stated that this project is
technically feasible. The company has the necessary expertise and resources to maintain them.
Google My Business, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, all of which are readily
available on the market, were utilized in order to carry out this project. Since all of the necessary
tools are available, the project can be considered technically feasible, with the exception of a few
paid ones.

4.6.2 Economic feasibility

A cost/benefit analysis is necessary to determine the system's benefits in relation to its costs in
order to evaluate the project's economic viability. On the off chance that the advantages offset the
expenses, the framework is thought of as financially achievable for improvement. However, if the
system's costs exceed its anticipated benefits, it is deemed economically infeasible, necessitating
adjustments to fit within the NTH digital marketing team's budget and cost estimate.

4.6.3 Operational feasibility

The undertaking's information examination evaluate the functional achievability, which
incorporates deciding whether the item will work or be utilized whenever it is executed. Everything
is digitalized in today's world, and businesses can't keep up with the market or grow if they don't
adapt to new technologies. As a result, the author's project is operationally feasible because it
involves marketing on digital platforms and adapting to them, which has the potential to result in
significant business success.

4.6.4 Legal Feasibility

The advantages and disadvantages imposed by the law, both in favor of the project and against it,
were taken into consideration when evaluating the project's legal viability. Since the venture
included the circulation of data, the legitimate issues were supposed to be insignificant. However,
in order to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, it was essential to thoroughly
review any legal considerations that might arise during the project's development and
implementation. In order to accomplish this, a comprehensive analysis of the legal framework
wascarried out, with strategies for effectively addressing any potential issues identified. By taking
this
approach, it was possible to ensure that the project was legal and could be carried out without
encountering significant legal obstacles.
