UoPeople Policies

In its Undergraduate Catalog, the University of the People (UoPeople) lists a number of
important principles that are essential to upholding academic integrity and creating a polite
learning environment. There are two noteworthy policies:

1. Academic Integrity Code

This policy places a strong emphasis on the value of integrity and creativity in all
academic work. It is required of students to turn in assignments and tests that
demonstrate their own work and to correctly credit any sources they use. Although
collaborative learning is encouraged, each student is required to turn in solo work unless
group activity is specifically specified. Furthermore, for two years following graduation,
students are not allowed to publicly share their schoolwork or that of others. Relevance
of the Uopeople Catalog: Maintaining academic integrity guarantees the credibility of
the university's degrees.
Students are evaluated according to their sincere comprehension and efforts, which
promotes a culture of fairness and trust. Both preserving the institution's reputation and
fostering personal development depend on this dedication to honesty.

2. General Code of Conduct

2. The General Code of Conduct

Students are required to treat every member of the university community with politeness and
respect under UoPeople's General Code of Conduct. It is definitely forbidden to engage in
provocative behavior, harassment, or antagonism of any kind. Discipline, such as expulsion from
classes or termination from the university, may result from violations.

Effective learning requires a setting that is inclusive and courteous. The institution fosters open
communication and a diversity of viewpoints by making sure that every student feels respected
and comfortable, which enhances the educational experience for all.Uopeople Catalog
