English Beginners A

Final Project.

Task: Speaking Presentation – “Discover a Country”

Create and present a group speaking presentation about a country. Your


presentation should include important and interesting information to help
your classmates learn about that country.

Instructions:

1. Create a presentation that includes the following


information:

o Name of the country

o Flag and its meaning

o Official language(s)

o Population

o Important cultural facts (food, traditions, festivals, etc.)

o 3 fun or surprising facts about the country

2. Presentation Date: Tentatively scheduled for June 9th (subject to


confirmation).

3. Teamwork is essential! All group members must participate.

o If a student does not collaborate or contribute, the group may


choose not to include that person in the final presentation.

4. Your group’s presentation should last at least 10 minutes.

5. This project is worth 15 points and will be graded using a rubric


(content, pronunciation, fluency, visuals, and fun facts).
