The figure below is a spread sheet extract showing the number of cholera cases reported at Biroi
Hospital for a period of one week. Use it to answer the question that follows.

1a) i) Open a spread sheet program and key in the data in sheet1 as it appears in the figure below.
Save the workbook as CHeases in your name folder

1b) Using a function and cell references only compute each of the following:

I. Total cases for morning and afternoon for each day.


II. Weekly total for both morning and afternoon for the week
III. Cases in percentage for each day using percentage format.
IV. Format the percentage figures to 2 decimal places showing the % sign

1c) Use a function for each case to compute

I. Number of days that reported more than 200 cases in the morning in cell B13
II. Total cases for the days with more than 500 reported cases in cell D13

1d) Insert a bar chart that compare Morning cases and afternoon cases for the days of the week in
a new sheet. Type the chart title as reported cases

I. Rename the sheet as chart sheet
