-Control and Automation Engineering , in some universities, also known as Robotics and artificial
intelligence is a field of study, design, and operation of automatic systems, automatic production
lines. It’s usually applied at iron and steel, cement, beverage factories and the design, manufacture,
and control of robots as well as product management at domestic and foreign companies. This
industry is always associated with production processes in industry - where human operations will
be completely replaced by the operation of automatic machines and robots.

Designing automaticed system , programing the machine lines, analysis,project consulting , supplying
automatic systems….
Operating and maintaing the systems. Despite the fact that the operation line operates
automatically, its still need human’s supervision so that whenever a problem occur, the technical
staff will detect the error and have instant preparing measure so that it won’t affect the producting
process.
II. The role of Control and Automation Engineering nowadays:
- Vietnam is in the period of industrialization and modernization but high-quality human
resources in the technology and engineering industries are still few,so Control and
automation engineering is an industry with great potential in the future.

programs with the same design period of 4 years, including Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of
