MATCH SCHEDULE

RULES
1. TEAM FORMATION
• Each team will have 5 males & 5 female players – no substitutes
• Runner allowed only if Medical Certificate is submitted.
• In case of on-the-spot injuries, it will be Organiser’s call to decide whether Runner can be allowed or not
• Player retirement is NOT allowed
• Captains must ensure that one person is always with the scorer to ensure scores are entered correctly. NO request
will be entertained post-match.
2. TOURNAMENT FORMAT
• There are 5 teams of 10 players each (5 boys, 5 girls)
• Each team will play against every other team as per Round Robin League format
• Each team will thus play 4 league matches of 6 overs each (3 overs to be bowled by boys and 3 overs to be bowled
by girls)
• Girls’ overs will be bowled first.
• Girls will bowl to girls and boys will bowl to boys
• In case girls get all out during their innings, the inning will be deemed as completed.
• There is a cap of 24 runs for girls and 30 runs for boys - after which the batter will RETIRED OUT (they cannot bat
again)
• In case all boys get out during their innings, then girls who are not out can come back and finish the remaining inning
of boys. This doesn’t apply to batters who were RETIRED OUT.
• The top two teams as per points and NRR will play the FINALS (6 overs)
• Scoring will be done via the CricHeroes App
• Incase of a tie in any of the league matches, each team will be awarded 1 point
• IN FINALS, if scores are LEVEL, a SUPEROVER will be bowled. Teams can decide who will bowl the super-over and
which 3 batters will be batting. Here there are NO RESTRICTIONS on gender
• ONLY 3 batters can bat in the SUPER OVER
• The bowler MUST be different from the batters in the SUPER OVER
• In case there is a TIE in SUPER OVER also, TOSS will decide the WINNER
3. SPORTS ATTIRE
• Team will have to COMPULSORILY wear SAME colour t-shirt for easier identification. Failure to comply will lead to a
penalty of 5 runs per match.
• Proper sports attire is COMPULSORY – sports shoes, shorts/trackpants and t-shirt is COMPULSORY
• Sari, salwar kameez, jeggings, shirt, trouser, kurti, kurta-pyjama, jeans, dhoti-kurta and any other clothing NOT
within the purview of sports attire – NOT ALLOWED. Failure to comply will lead to a penalty of 5 runs per match.
• Playing barefoot is NOT ALLOWED
• Bring your own bat, cap and requisite cricket gear
• Balls for the tournament will be provided
4. OVERS & BOWLING restrictions
• ALL Matches
• Underarm bowling with tennis ball
• Sidearm bowling NOT ALLOWED

5. BATTING & BOWLING restrictions for league matches (to ensure inclusivity & equal chance)
• 1st & 2nd match – Opener & non-striker must be different
• 3rd match – Opener has to be fresh and non-striker can be repeated
• 4th match – Opener & non-striker can be repeated as per captains choice.
• Opening pair cannot bowl in league matches.
• Captain must ensure that every player, opens atleast once and bowls atleast 2 times during the league matches (Only 2
bowlers can bowlers can bowl 3 times during league matches)
• A bowler cannot bowl twice during the same league match.
• Failure to comply will attract disciplinary action may include disqualification or runs penalty or any other action the
organiser deems fit.

6. BYES & LEG BYES & OVERTHROW EXTRAS
• Byes and Leg byes are allowed
• Overthrow extra runs are allowed
7. FIELDING restrictions for all matches
• Each team MUST have a maximum of 5 players behind the bowler
• At any given point of time, minimum 3 players must be behind the bowler
• Each team MUST have a maximum of 3 players on the boundary (one compulsory female player)
• Compulsory one-female player on the boundary.
• Failure to comply to the above will attract NO BALL from the umpire and one run will be added to the batting team’s
score.
8. FOUR & SIXES
• Full-toss shot to net behind the bowler is SIX
• Ground shot to net behind the bowler is FOUR
• If ball touches side net and then hits the back net its FOUR
• If ball hits the top net and then hits the back net then its FOUR
9. NO BALL
• Every NO BALL is one run. NO free hit after NO BALL.
• If the ball is above waist height it will be a NO BALL. In case the batter moves ahead to hit the ball and the ball is
above waist height, it will be umpire’s call
• If the ball falls before the MID-LINE on the pitch it will be a NO BALL
• Bowlers must clearly inform the umpire of the side from where they are going to bowl before the start of the over.
Failing which the ball is declared a NO BALL.
• Within an over, if the bowler decides to change sides, she/he has to inform the umpire once again. Failing which the
ball is declared a NO BALL

• In case of change in Wicket Keeping, the umpire must be clearly informed. Failing which the ball is declared a NO
BALL
• If the ball bounces twice before the batter, it will be considered as a NO BALL (do tappa ball)
• If any part of the bowler's foot touches the bowling crease, a NO BALL will be declared.
• If the wicketkeeper catches the ball ahead of the stumps, it's a NO BALL; at that point, the batter will not be given
out even if the batter is outside the crease.
• NO free hit after NO BALL
• If a batter gets run out or stumped on a NO BALL, she/he will be considered OUT. The ball will be counted. One run
of NO BALL will be added to the score.
10. WIDE BALL
• Any ball that is bowled outside the leg stump & doesn’t touch the batter, it will be a WIDE BALL
• Any ball that is bowled outside the wide crease mark on the off side will be a WIDE BALL
• Every WIDE ball is one run.
• If a batter gets run out or stumped on a WIDE BALL, she/he will be considered OUT. The ball will be counted. One
run of WIDE BALL will be added to the score.
11.DECLARE RUNS
• If the ball goes out of the turf, it is ONE RUN declared and batter will come back to take strike
• If the ball gets stuck in the top net or side net, it is ONE RUN declared and batter will come back take strike
12.CATCHOUT
• If the ball hits the net on the roof and is caught by any player of the fielding side, it will be considered OUT
• If the ball hits the side net and any fielder catches the ball, it is NOT OUT
13. NO MANKAD WICKET and NO POWER BALL
14.DISCIPLINE
• While each team wants to win, let us all enjoy the game and play with true spirit
• NO sledging, arguing or fighting with opposing team or umpire
• Only the captain can speak with the umpire or the organising team in case of a dispute
• Players found to be disturbing the peace will be asked to leave the tournament.
• If players don’t turn up for the tournament, NO replacement will be allowed. The respective team will have to play
with as many players as available for the tournament.
• Matches will begin as per schedule - the team will have to play with short players if their players haven't come on
time.
• Players who don't wait back for the Prize distribution - will have to forgo their prizes/awards.
• SMOKING, VAPING, CONSUMING DRUGS & DRINKING STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED. Any player found to be doing so will
be asked to LEAVE the turf and the respective team will be DISQUALIFIED.
15.THE DECISION OF THE UMPIRE AND ORGANISING TEAM WILL BE FINAL & BINDING
16. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
• Captains - Please ensure that you have the following information of your players with you:
• Emergency contact
• Emergency medicines
• Knowledge of injury/health issues
• Organiser will depend on captains for any medical emergency
• First-aid kit will be available with the organiser – however, organiser is NOT responsible for any injuries on and off the
turf.

• Players with any pre-existing medical condition will play at their own risk.
• Organiser will not be responsible for any consequence inside or outside the turf during the tournament.
• Players are requested to remain hydrated throughout the tournament
• Please do proper warm-up before the match to avoid injury
17.REFRESHMENTS:
• Captains are requested to inform the organiser in case of food allergies
• Vegetarian dinner (JAIN) & refreshments will be provided
• Chips, Bananas, Tea/Coffee and Water will be provided. Please carry your own water bottles for refills
18. PARKING:
• Parking not available – street parking at owner’s risk.
19.CARE FOR YOUR BELONGINGS/TURF:
• Please take care of your own belongings. Organiser will not be responsible for loss/theft/misplacement of any article.
• Please take care of the turf. DONOT LITTER. Use the designated dustbins to throw garbage.
• In case you are planning to get guests or children, organiser will not be responsible for their safety or well-being
