CHAPTER FIVE

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

5.0 INTRODUCTION
This chapter comprise of the summary, conclusions and recommendations based on the
conclusion drawn from the study.

5.1 SUMMARY

This study aimed to develop an online admission and information system to address the
inefficiencies and challenges of the traditional manual admission process. The objectives
were to automate the admission process, provide accurate and up-to-date information
about courses and admission requirements, improve the efficiency and transparency of
the admission process, and enhance the overall user experience for students and
administrators.

Chapter One introduced the study, highlighting the background, problem statement,
aims and objectives, significance, and scope of the study. The traditional admission
process was identified as time-consuming, error-prone, and lacking transparency,
necessitating the development of a centralized online system.

Chapter Two provided a comprehensive literature review, examining existing systems

and technologies related to online admission and information systems. The review
identified key challenges, potential solutions, and future directions for innovation in the
field.

Chapter Three focused on the software development model used in the project,
including the requirement engineering process and the design tools employed. The
chapter detailed the structured approach taken to ensure a comprehensive and efficient
development process.

Chapter Four covered the implementation of the software, describing the frontend and
backend technologies and tools used in the development. The chapter also discussed the
software and hardware requirements for the system and the testing and evaluation
procedures to ensure the system met its specified requirements.

5.2 CONCLUSION

The development of the online admission and information system successfully addressed
the inefficiencies of the traditional manual admission process. The system provided a
centralized platform for automating various tasks, such as student registration, course
management, and application processing. This automation significantly improved the
efficiency and effectiveness of the admission process, benefiting both students and
administrators.

The system's features, including real-time application status tracking, accurate

information dissemination, and enhanced transparency, improved the overall user
experience. The integration of advanced technologies provided valuable insights and
analytics, enabling institutions to make informed decisions and develop effective
recruitment strategies.

The study demonstrated that a comprehensive online admission and information system
is essential for modernizing the admissions process in educational institutions. By
leveraging technology, institutions can improve operational efficiency, enhance student
satisfaction, and maintain a competitive edge in the education sector.

5.3 RECOMMENDATION

Based on the findings and conclusions of this study, the following recommendations are
proposed:

1. Further System Enhancements: Future enhancements should include the

integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence for predictive
analytics and machine learning for personalized student experiences.
2. Scalability Considerations: As the volume of applications and users grows,
scalability should be considered in future updates to ensure the system continues
to perform efficiently.

By implementing these recommendations, educational institutions can further enhance

the effectiveness and utility of the online admission and information system, ensuring it
meets the evolving needs of users and continues to contribute to the success of their
admissions process.
