Overview The Material Requirements Plan (MRP) plans supply schedules for MRP planned items. The MRP plans requirements are based upon Bills Of Materials, Inventory and the Master Production Schedule (if applicable) to create and suggest changes to supply. 1.0 Define the MRP plan name. After defining an MRP plan, identify MRP plan options. Source Schedule field must be populated before the MRP plan can be submitted. Identify the netting options required for each MRP. Sub-inventory netting can also be selected for each MRP which may be different than the Inventory setup. Select Options for each MRP. The schedule field must be filled out in order for MRP to run successfully. The schedule is the source Master Demand Schedule or Master Production Schedule the MRP plan is based upon. Select Subinventory netting for each MRP plan. Changes to MRP subinventory netting will not change the Inventory setup for subinventory netting.
