Project Title: Deepfake Detection in Visual Media Using ResNext
Feature Extraction and LSTM Classification
1. Tasks Assigned

• Fine-tune the model for improved accuracy and robustness.


• Perform comparative analysis with other existing deepfake detection models.
• Prepare an initial draft of documentation on model architecture and findings.

2. Work done for each task

• Developed and trained ResNext-based deepfake detection models using the


preprocessed dataset.
• Compared the ResNext model with other deepfake detection architectures,
including EfficientNet and Xception.
• Compiled findings into a preliminary report, covering model architecture,
evaluation metrics, and dataset improvements.

3. Task for the upcoming week

• Optimize the real-time detection pipeline for efficiency and lower latency.
• Perform comparative analysis with other existing deepfake detection models.
• Conduct extensive testing on unseen deepfake datasets to validate
generalization.
