ABSTRACT
The Library Management System is a project aimed at developing a
computerized platform to efficiently manage library operations while
integrating Machine Learning for an enhanced user experience. It addresses the
challenge of inefficient book availability management, which impacts users by
providing inaccurate availability information, making it difficult to track
borrowed books and due dates, and limiting book discovery options, ultimately
leading to missed opportunities.
Key features include user login for students and librarians, along with admin
access for overall monitoring and control. It incorporates due renewals,
borrowed book tracking, automated reminders for dues, and wishlist
functionality to improve accessibility and efficiency. Additionally, Machine
Learning-based recommendations enhance book discovery by analyzing user
preferences and borrowing history.
By leveraging React Native, Firebase, and Machine Learning, this project
ensures an efficient, automated, and user-friendly solution that reduces manual
effort while enhancing the overall experience for students and staff.
