Grease and Fat Bioformula
for Wastewater Treatment Plants and Sewer Systems
Description
MICROCAT-SXMRF grease and fat bioformula is a synergistic blend of preselected,
adapted microorganisms which break down and degrade fats, oils and greases (FOG).
It is formulated with grease and fat degraders for enhancement of plant operation and
maintenance of free-flowing sewer lines and lift/pump stations. MICROCAT-SXMRF
contains a combination of aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms selected from
nature for their ability to break down a broad range of substances encountered in domestic
wastes and sludges (greases, fats, proteins and polysaccharides).
Applications
MICROCAT-SXMRF grease and fat bioformula is used in collection systems, lift/pump
stations, biological wastewater treatment plants, and aerobic and anaerobic sludge
digesters.

Application Programs
In general, MICROCAT-SXMRF Bioformula is applied on a regular preventive maintenance
basis. Application programs range from about one pound per MGD per day to 25 pounds
per MGD per day for upset recovery. Your Bioscience, Inc. Technical Representative will
provide you with a custom-tailored application program to fit the specific needs of your
treatment system.
Optimal Application Conditions
For best results, apply this product under the following conditions:

Dry conditions; DO NOT FREEZE.
Handling WARNING: See Safety Data Sheet. Avoid inhalation of dry powder or liquid
mist. Avoid exposing skin to dry powder or strong solution as irritation may
result. If material contacts skin or eyes, flush thoroughly and repeatedly with
water.
