PO Exam Preparation

📅 Month 1 – Foundation Building


Goal: Build strong basics and understand the syllabus.

Focus Areas:

●​ Quant: Number system, simplification, percentages, ratio-proportion, averages.


●​ Reasoning: Blood relations, directions, syllogisms, inequalities.
●​ English: Grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary.
●​ GK: Start daily current affairs from a trusted source.
●​ Mocks: 2 Prelims-level mocks per week + analysis.

📅 Month 2 – Strengthening Core Topics


Goal: Strengthen concepts and increase speed.

Focus Areas:

●​ Quant: Time & work, time-speed-distance, SI/CI, data interpretation.


●​ Reasoning: Puzzles (linear/circular), seating arrangements, coding-decoding.
●​ English: Cloze test, error detection, para jumbles.
●​ GK: Static GK + weekly current affairs revision.
●​ Mocks: 2–3 Prelims mocks/week, 1 sectional test per subject.

📅 Month 3 – Prelims Mastery


Goal: Be fully Prelims-ready.

Focus Areas:

●​ Daily mixed practice of Prelims sections (20+ Qs each).


●​ Regular revision of formulas and short notes.
●​ Descriptive writing (start with 1 essay & 1 letter per week).
●​ Mocks: 3–5 full-length Prelims mocks/week.

📅 Month 4 – Transition to Mains


Goal: Start Mains-level prep while maintaining Prelims practice.

Focus Areas:

●​ Reasoning: High-level puzzles, input-output, decision making.


●​ Quant: Caselets, arithmetic DI, data sufficiency.
●​ English: Editorial-based comprehension, connectors, para starters.
●​ GK: Budget, economy, RBI updates, banking awareness.
●​ Mocks: Continue Prelims + start Mains section-wise mocks.

📅 Month 5 – Mains Practice Intensified


Goal: Strengthen speed, accuracy, and answer-writing.

Focus Areas:

●​ 3 Mains mocks/week.
●​ Revise descriptive writing (2 essays + 2 letters/week).
●​ GK revision: last 4–5 months.
●​ Revise weak areas in Reasoning and Quant.

📅 Month 6 – Revision & Final Push


Goal: Full syllabus revision + final practice.

Focus Areas:

●​ Revise all notes, formulas, static GK.


●​ Focus on strong mock performance under exam conditions.
●​ Practice 2 Prelims and 2 Mains mocks per week.
●​ Final review of current affairs (last 6 months especially).
●​ Polish descriptive writing.
