1. Install any Autodesk 2020-2024 Application

2. Copy "Common Files" from patch, to: C:\Program Files (x86)

3. Install Network License Manager (nlm11.18.0.0_ipv4_ipv6_win64.msi)

4. Copy "adskflex.exe" and "Lic.dat" from patch, to: C:\Autodesk\Network License


Manager

5. Edit the Lic.dat file


- Start the file with notepad

- Change HOSTNAME and MAC to suit your configuration (if you are not sure start
LMTOOLS Utility and go to
System Settings, your HOSTNAME and MAC will be listed)

6. Setup & start license server


- Start LMTOOLS Utility (lmtools.exe)

- In tab "Config Services"


**| Add a service name
**| Choose "C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\lmgrd.exe" for path to lmgrd
**| Choose "C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\Lic.dat" for path to license
file
**| Tick 'use services' and 'start server at power up'
**| Click on "Save"

- In tab "Service/License file"


**| Choose "Configuration using Services" and tick "LMTOOLS ignores license
file patch environment variables"

- In tab "Start/Stop/Reread"
**| Click on "Start Server"
**| Click on "ReRead License file"

7. Start your Autodesk Application


- License type: Use a network license
- License server model: Single License Server
- Use 127.0.0.1, localhost or where the flexlm daemon is installed (syntax could
be port@server).
