PREAMBLE: State one precaution each to be taken to obtain a good focus when using
a compound light microscope.

• Always look through the eyepiece with your two eyes open
• To remove a slide from the stage, turn your objective lens to low power.
• In selecting your objective piece lens, make sure you hear a ‘click’ sound with
the chosen lens pointing to the stage as you turn your revolving nose

objective lens.

PREAMBLE: State one function of the Endoplasmic Reticulum (E.R)
