1. Your event outline document Explains what the event is about, and how it will work. It is an Module 1
overview that touches on the highlights of the other elements.

2. Audience Clarifying who the event is for, who you expect/hope will attend. Module 1
Figuring out how you plan to reach that "target market".

3. Setting objectives and defining What do you plan to accomplish with the event. What will success Module 1
success factors look like? How will you actually measure your success?

4. Activities and appearance What is the event 'made of'? What will happen at the event? How will Module 2
it unfold? What will it look like? What kind of theme will you use?

5. Selecting the facility Deciding on what kind of facility you need and picking out the actual Module 2
location.

6. Resources The people and materials you'll need for the event. Module 2

7. Budget What it's going to cost and (if appropriate), how much do you need Module 3
to raise, and how are you going to do it?

8. Risk Management Anticipating what might go wrong and planning to manage these Module 5
risks.

9. Evaluation What worked and what could be even better next time? Module 6
