Project Rationale:

People of Pakistan are in dire need of support system that provide them a back-up service
continuously going on, while they are doing their own economic activity and utilize their resource
of time effectively and efficiently. In bigger picture, it is of significance, when seen collectively that
is group of individuals not being able to reach to their offices, due to work that they need to be done
by the mechanics on their vehicles. They do miss on their economic activity; collectively, the net
impact on the day economic activity generation becomes negative. This replicates “if the individual
is taxpayer and businessperson without fixed salary” on the impact on tax money of the country.

Assuming the above doesn’t concern at all the individual and the driver are said to take cars to mechanics by
the target market to have done the work on cars timely. The problem there stands still as mechanics are
always in rush to work and earn more bucks from their work on any car and driver are hired people for
services, who cannot be trusted of the work and billing. Moreover, they are not experts of cars to know the
work thoroughly, who may supervise the mechanical work being done effectively and efficiently.

This has encouraged us to come up with an idea to digitalize the service sector of Pakistan
pertaining to automobile after sale services that will encompasses Mechanical businesses, garages,
automobile companies, private corporates, public companies, governmental organizations,
individuals, and females.

Project Purpose:
In recent times, there has been surge in number of people buying and selling cars as well as and
getting their cars maintained from the mechanic. To take time out from a busy routine, it is becoming
hard for car owners to spend their full day at some mechanic shop to get their work done under
their nose and substitute their significant work for a monotonous mechanic work. There is a lot that
one can do rather not spending day or days in mechanic shops. For most, the mechanic may not be
new rather a trusted person since long time or referral is what, which is used as a card to get their
work up to mark.
Mechanics on the other hand prefer to get rid of work, which is time consuming to deal their other
clients too as well as ignore those owners with minor work to get huge bucks. Mechanics in market
are specialized but sometimes the work done on a car gets lose due to rush hours.
Those car owners or a car that is utilized by a family, if get stuck at mechanic shop, it just become a
nightmare for a family as whole family depends on one car.
We are the pioneer of Car Mechanics, pitching ourselves to be the trustworthy, professional, and
ethical players as intermediator to provide the services to both mechanic and car owners. The value
addition is that the mechanic would get its client more than its daily average as well as more bucks
and client would get his/her work done in effectively and efficiently manner that is if any fault
found within 3 to 5 days of car being out of mechanic shop, its rectification shall be done free of
charge and no charges of even fuel shall be given back to the client.
In depth of this idea, there is whole network of mechanic, public, car enthusiastic, automobile
manufacturing companies, retails as well as corporates that are in contract with companies or
individuals for example Careem, Uber, UN, and embassies as well as Businesses that requires their
cars to be maintained.
This idea of business holds two things highly above that are trust and risk. Trust is something that is
gained through services, which is promised for being up to the mark and risk is something where
stands as guard ensuring the asset shines bright and never become dull.
Project Goal:
The desired end of this project is to get understanding of all idea aspects and to be able to decide on
its practicality and framework to put it under the action.
Broad Statement of Scope:
This project scope is to discuss all the aspects of automobile mechanical work and develop
understanding of target market for our business idea.

Project Objectives:
• To get the insight of automobile service market.
• To discuss the practicality of business idea and its framework.
• Providing a solution to the untapped issue of traditional services.
 Anticipated Benefits:
Successfulness of this project will impact positively on its stakeholders: Mechanics, Individuals
(Car owners) or Corporates, General Public (Females), and government.
Mechanics shall be benefited in a way that their businesses will have an unmatched outreach
(Marketing campaigns) based on their performance ultimately translating into huge finances.
Individuals:
Car owners shall be benefited in a way that they shall be able to utilize their time in more
productive task and will be able to skip hustle and bustle. Moreover, they will get their work done
by being virtually present now at whatever moment they want to check in to mechanic’s work and
provide instructions that they required to be done. Furthermore, their car maintenance report shall
always be presented through built in function in app. Services that are periodical to the cars shall be
flagged and reminded so that their cars remain highly maintained and stay longer as an asset.
General public:
Any new buyer, who wants to buy a car can logged into an app and can check car maintenance file
through authorized mechanic link with the approval of car owner through OTP as Car Mechanic
likes to keep trust high in all business transactions of Cars.
This app will enable public to learn car technicalities at home or wherever they are stuck in
difficulty by launching in app free teaching courses that can be downloaded for instance how to
check plugs, oil, throttle issues, common wiring issues, staring jam, tire change.

Key Success Factors:

• The analysis of automobile service market will enable us to gain the knowledge that
would be beneficial for our business idea and its completion successfully.
• To be able to assert the positive impact this business idea can make to the society.
There can be more success factors that can be added but remains unknown so far for example
initial Investment as this project remains under the scrutiny of investigation by one of the authors of
the project.
Quality Definition:
Car Mechanic provides bridging services between car owners (individual, automobile services
companies, corporates) and Mechanics for smoothly maintenance of car while mitigating risk of
any sort and keeping the trust of owner’s sky-high, all-in favor of public and automobile service
businesses for prosperous Pakistan.

Estimated Timeframe:
This project shall be completed in time as and when it is required to be completed by the academic
authority that is for this session Feburary,2022.
Constraints:
Following are the constraints of this project:
• The preliminary investigation requires more time than is being offered by the academics.
• This project requires initial investment that remains in question and unknown as its
feasibility is yet to be studied.

Potential Risk:
This project has two risks associated to its operation which is value risk. Value risk here meant to
define the car while being transported/taken to mechanics or towards owner destination get a hit or
if an accident happens. This can be overcome by ensuring the services provided by the insurance
companies.
The other risk/threat to this idea is of trust deficit. Car owners may not trust the services being
provided by Car mechanic or threat of happening of accident while car in transit to mechanic may
be the concern that to its maximum can be covered up by insurance of services as well as licensed
drivers. Trust on the mechanical work is of significant but efficient feedback and review system as
well as days limit of work guarantee may mitigate it to its maximum.
