iv: TILE: 40x40x4mm Sterling Dark Grey Porcelain Non-Slip Mosaic, supplied in
300x300mm sheets, from Tile Africa, or similar approved.
SKIRTING: To be installed 150mm up Walls, and up and over the Shower Threshold

CODE: FL-5 UNTINTED GRANOLITHIC SCREEDS

SPECIFICATION: SCREED: min 30mm Untinted Granolithic, min 30Mpa granolithic screed. Composed of 2-
parts granite (or other approved hard stone chippings graded to max 5mm size), 1-part
clean pit sand (screened through 2.4mm mesh), and 1-part cement. Hand or mechanically
steel trowelled to a smooth and true surface.
To be laid in panels not exceeding 20m2 with V-joints at junctions. Joints to be aligned
with expansion joints in surface bed where applicable.
SKIRTING: Min 12mm thick (5mm proud from plaster face) x 250mm high monolithic grano skirting to
be turned up the wall, with 25mm rounded radius joint between wall and floor to all areas
with granolithic floor finish. All specifications for floor finish to be taken up the coved
skirting. Skirting face to project minimum 5mm beyond finished wall face. Skirtings in
showers as specified under FL- 5
NOTE: Where screeds are to fall, these are to be sloped to waste outlets/or as indicated.
Minimum slope to be 1:60, except if indicated otherwise on detail plans.
