Reporter 1: Supporters of Vice President Sara Duterte gathered at Plaza
Independencia in Cebu City on Sunday to protest the impeachment moves against
her. The demonstration followed a "Protect the Vice President" caravan from various
parts of the province.
Duterte faces two impeachment complaints, one filed by advocacy groups alleging
corruption, bribery, and betrayal of public trust, endorsed by Akbayan Party-list
Representative Perci Cendaña. The second complaint, filed by over 70
representatives from various sectors, cites alleged misuse of confidential funds,
backed by the Makabayan bloc.

Reporter 2: The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) organized a rally in support of President
Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s call for lawmakers not to file an impeachment complaint
against Vice President Sara Duterte for such move would not help the Filipino
people.
"Sa Ganang Mamamayan" program host Gen Subardiaga said an impeachment
complaint against the country's second highest official is not a priority as there are
more important issues that need to be addressed. However, two separate
impeachment complaints have still been filed on Monday and Wednesday before the
House of Representatives against Duterte this week.

on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The UP-fighting Maroons lead 1-0 in the
best of three finals championship series. Game 1 ended with 73-65 points, a 12-point
difference with the UP-Fighting Maroons victorious. The Victory was led by Match
MVP player Quentin Millora-Brown who scored a staggering 17 points, 9 rebounds, 3
assists, 2 steals and a block! Despite Le Salle’s desperate attempt to regain control
of the game with the help of Mike Philipps and the losing MVP player Kevin
Quiambo, they were not able to stop the Fighting Maroon’s game-winning
momentum. And that, the UP-fighting Maroons are blitzing for their second
