AIMS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANISATION

Creating and promoting nonformal learning methods linked with business and financial knowledge
was our goal and to achieve we participated at different types of training and activities developed
by other NGO’s.

Since 2016, developing cultural education projects became our main activity, the projects which
are at the confluence of history and arts, according to the specialities of our main team. We had
more than 40 national and international projects, generally financed by the Romanian Ministry of
Culture

We have an ongoing project that promote Romanian crafts and folklore reinterpretations as a step
to the multicultural patchwork of Europe.
We organized camps and excursions where we promoted the principles of organization life, team
spirit non-discrimination since the highschools located in Dambovita County with which we are
cooperating with are facing problems like school early drop out, discrimination of the rroma
population and decreasing interest in school activities..
We promote photography and digital skills of young people in order to support them to better
express themselves.
Since 2023 we began to get involved as partners and beneficiaries in Erasmus + projects, having a
distinct department for this. In 2023 we had only 5 projects but in 2024 we were involved in more
than 30 projects more than 150 young people from our organisation participating in projects all
around Europe. This year we are preparing even more projects than last year, paying special attention to
those financed by the Erasmus+ program, which will have a significant role in our activity. In youth mobility
projects, youth exchanges and youth worker trainings, we will focus more on training participants and
disseminating activities. Also, feedback from participants and partners becomes increasingly valuable for
improving experiences.
In addition to the projects dedicated to youth, this year, with funding from the European Union, we are
running a project for adults, Nature's Embrace: A Journey to Mental Well-Being, which will end in April 2026.
At the same time, we are partners in a large-scale sports project - "Sports4All. Gender Equality in Sports.
Inclusion and Balanced Opportunities for Youth", which will run until the end of 2026.

Organizational We have established a 3-level organizational structured:

We are represented in three major cities of Romania: Bucuresti, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi

DEVELOPMENT addresses its interest mainly in the following areas: research, development and
innovation, education, environment, sustainable development and public services.
Since 2013 when the association was founded, developing methods that would make financial
training more attractive and accessible for young people was the constant activity for Mrs.
Brutaru.
Mrs Brutaru speaks English, French at professional level, German and Italian at conversational
level
DAR DEVELOPMEN Association staff have completed trainings in European Citizenship,
Prejudice Awareness and Internet Safety.
Our Volunteers have assisted with local stages of previous international projects and have
facilitated team-building and groupwork sessions.
Ms. Alexandra Brinzac is 30 years old, graduated University of Bucharest, Master Psycho-
diagnosis, Unification Experiential Psychotherapy and Personal Development

She can communicate and work effectively in a team with people coming from different ethnic and
social backgrounds thanks to her experience as a participant in various Erasmus+ projects (Latvia,
Spain, Lithuania, Austria, Czech –Republic, Turkey, Poland) the fact that she had an Erasmus
Year as a student in Barcelona, Spain and a six monts EVS in Turkey.
She is most interested in human rights and eco-friendliness.
Languages:Romanian (native), English (advanced), Spanish (intermediate), French (beginner).
Ms. Brinzac is our communication coordinator.
Mr. Vlad-Constantin Rusu, our NGO's coordinator of Erasmus+ projects and primary contact
person, consistently participates in initiatives aimed at raising awareness about crucial issues.
Comprehending the project concepts, he strives to foster stronger connections among NGOs
focusing on topics such as the environment, gender equality, mental health, and entrepreneurship.
As a student at "Universitatea de Stiinta si Tehnologie Politehnica Bucuresti", he remains actively
always engaged in Erasmus+ projects.
Mrs. Oana Tănase – coordinator of art and handicraft workshops. Graduated art university,
currently working in a Cultural Centre. She organises and coordinates workshops in glass
painting, wood painting, needle work.
