Internet Censorship of Child Porngraphy Essay
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor
safety. Benjamin Franklin.
Technically speaking, internet censorship is difficult to achieve. Proponents of this measure seem to
have neglected the fact that putting in place a system of surveillance requires the establishment of
clear, unalterable rules. But often, such a task can be almost unfeasible since it is quite
problematical to define precisely the information that is supposed to be blocked. In the context of
hate speech for example, it is important to acknowledge the existence of a line between criticism,
whether it is constructive or not, and pure animosity.

When it comes to legal videos that may be inappropriate, the team instantly resorts to age restriction.
Both of these internet giants encourage free speech while supervising it and immediately removing
content that is clearly offensive to the general public. This concept of self regulation is a good
alternative to extensive Internet censorship, since the website only has its own contents to focus on,
rather than having an entire system of surveillance watching over the web, with the risk of it making
errors in the process. Most importantly, the main idea behind these guidelines is not censorship, but
moral, reasonable control.
We should not let the government interfere and impose its draconian laws. Censorship is nothing but
a violation of fundamental civil rights, starting with freedom of speech. By defying the First Law of
Amendment (reference), internet surveillance will only give the government greater power to run
our lives. Without our free will and autonomy, we are helpless, incapable of making a change. The
Internet is a place that promotes freedom, in all its forms. Web surfers connect to each other and
share their ideas for the world to read. Above all, they become fearless. They stop thinking about who
could stop them because they know that they are united, in this huge yet intimate world. Anarchists
from all over the world come together and send their support
Heart Rate Investigation Report
Heart Rate Investigation
Megan Wydell 8C
Partners: Georgia Hiscock, Gabi McArthur
Aim: To investigate how the length of exercise affects the circulatory and respiratory systems;
specifically the rate at which the heart returns to its resting rate after various lengths of exercise.
Hypothesis: As one exercises for longer amounts of time one s heart rate will increase and take
longer to get back to resting heart rate.
Materials:
Stop watch
Heart rate
Treadmill
Method:
1. The heart rate monitor was attached to the test subject.
2. Resting heart rate was taken (using heart rate monitor)
3. The treadmill was started and the subject began running as timer was started.

This is because for the muscles to continue to exert high amounts of energy they need to have
constant oxygenated blood going to them so breathing becomes faster so the oxygen can get to the
blood and the heart beats faster so that the oxygenated blood can reach the muscles quicker.
The reason your heart takes longer to get back to its resting rate after longer lengths of exercise is
because your heart is already at a relatively high rate so it will take a while to get back to resting rate
(just like it will take a hot cup of water longer to freeze, than it will take a cold cup of water to
freeze.) Added on to that muscles produce wastes so after a long amount of exercise the heart needs
to keep beating slightly fast to get rid of the wastes that were produced by the muscles after the
exercise.
Improvement/Recommendations:
An improvement to the experiment could be doing the trials for a longer amount of time until it
reached the resting heart rate, using a heart rate monitor or manual pulse reading for the whole
experiment instead of alternating between

Shootings And Burglary-Personal Narrative
Why is this happening?

I m sure you have probably heard about the shootings and burglary that have happened recently. If
not, you re about to. March 25 police were called to Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas with reports of
an active shooter. Well, it turns out, those reports were false. But what did happen was, masked
robbers broke into the high end jewelry and watch store of the hotel. You may be asking So what,
these things happen more than you think. Yeah, well, the robbers were wearing character masks,
nice dark suits or tuxedos, and armed with sledge hammers. An image a witness captured shows one
of the burglars wearing a pig mask.

This type of thing reminds me of something being pulled straight from there. This is ridiculous.
Why are we having problems with people copying video games? I don t know if that was the
insinuation of it or if they were copying past burglaries, either way it is not acceptable. Yes, yes, I
know, we cannot stop nor prevent all crime. But we do have a problem in the shadows somewhere,
it needs to be found.

Then we have the Las Vegas strip shooting, also on March 25, injuring 1 and killing 1. Sources say
the shooter was a man in his 50 s, who has mental health issues, who opened fire with a handgun.
This was probably not preventable very easily, but I want to know how he got the gun, and if he
knew what he was doing. If so, what was he trying to accomplish? Was he diagnosed with the mental
health issues if he had doctor?

Now the shooting in the Cincinnati, Ohio nightclub. One dead, fourteen wounded. This shooting
is believed to have been some kind of dispute between specific individuals earlier that day. Why
did they have to bring it to the nightclub and get other people involved? Why did it have to turn to
deadly force? Why were so many shots fired? Why, why why? There is so much more to know, but
all your mainstream media either don t know, or don t care to tell
Wheattone Bridge Essay
Introduction In the 19th century, Samuel Hunter Christie invented the diamond method for circuits,
the initial idea to the Wheatstone bridge. However, bridge circuits, circuits with parallel resistors,
bridged by a branch between them, were used to measure small voltages; but, the Wheatstone bridge
is used to measure an unknown resistance using all the others three known resistance in the circuit.
During the lab, the Wheatstone Bridgeconcept for a bridge circuit was used to determine the
unknown resistorin the circuit, see in figure 1. The objective was to measure the voltages between
points on the branch between the first two resistors in series on top and bottom ones, in which were
connected in parallel. Thereafter, test the voltage calculated at different temperatures, those being
room temperature, ice water and hot water; by using a thermistor in the circuit, that helps calibrate
the Wheatstone bridge as a thermometer.
Methods
Firstly, the protoboard was powered with 1 volts coming from the power supply. The circuit was
assembled by connecting two resistors in series on top and one resistor and the thermistor in series
on the bottom connected to the top branch in parallel. The left end of the circuit was powered by 1
v from the power supply and the rightmost end was grounded. The thermistor was placed on the
bottom branch of the circuit by two wires that connected to the protoboard and to the thermistor in
which were long enough to allow the thermistor to be

The Investigation Of Movement And Its Effect On Football
When you toss a football to one of your companions out in the back yard, you are applying
material science ideas. You need to make changes for various variables, similar to wind,
separation and weight of the ball. The more distant away the harder you need to toss it with the
end goal it should get to him. These computations that happen in your mind is every one of the
piece of material science, you simply don t have any acquaintance with it on the grounds that it
easily falls into place. Material science is the area of science that arrangements with our general
surroundings. The piece of material science that most identifies with football is mechanics,
which is the investigation of movement. Material science is the branch of science arrangements
with the physical world. The branch of material science that is most important to football is
mechanics, the investigation of movement and its reasons. Football use all different type of
physics. You got newton first law, second law, and third law In football a standout amongst the
most critical parts is having the capacity to toss or kick a football, all the more imperatively to toss
or kick a football keeping in mind the end goal to score. Restricted of doing this is to toss or kick a
football with a high speed/speed. One of the best quarterback s in the NFL at this moment is the
newcomer, Cam Newton who plays for the Carolina Panthers. He is a key sample of a quarterback
who has high speed/speed on a football toss.
Summary Of Let Us Howl By Allen Ginsberg
Let us Howl: The Method behind the Madness
An impeccable display of the glorious stream of consciousness that aims to demean the patriarchal
aspects of society from the great Allen Ginsberg is not what the critics of the 1950 s were saying
when they first read Allen Ginsberg s, Howl. The critics of the 1950 s originally described Howl as
an insult to intelligence, demoting it to be nothing more than buddha babble that should be
stripped of its poetic genre and labeled as mere nonsense to the reader. It seems unfair that the
critics deemed the poem in such harsh lighting without acknowledging Howl s more admirable
characteristics. Indeed, the concept of Howl is hard to follow, but looking at Howl from the
perspective of a stream of consciousness, it is interesting to see how the supposed nonsense
connects together, as if Ginsberg is playing a game of Chain Reaction. While Howl was initially
demoted as mere babble, the obvious stabs at the patriarchy, the sudden change in subject, the
immense heat emerging from his poetry, and the freedom that comes from the insanity demonstrated
in Howl renders the poem not only a work that stands against societal barriers, but a piece of art that
is deserving of literary merit.
Ginsberg s first patriarchal criticism begins with the opening line, I saw the best minds of my
generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked... where he continually describes people
of various backgrounds that have been ostracized and
Modern Transformers And Electric Power Systems
Large power modern transformers are vital components and very expensive in electric power
systems. Forthwith, it is very important to reduce the duration and frequency of unwanted outages
that results in a high demand imposed on power transformer protection relays, this includes the
requirements of dependability related with no mal operations, operating speed related with short
fault clearing time to avoid extensive damage or to preserve power quality and power system
stability and security related with no false tripping.
Discrimination between inrush currents and internal faults has long been known as a challenging
power transformer protection problem. Otherwise, inrush currents contain large second harmonic
component compared to internal faults, conventional transformer protection are designed to achieve
required discrimination by sensing that large second harmonic content [1]. The level of second
harmonic component of the inrush current has been reduced due to improving in transformer core
material and occur power system changes. Additionally, a large second harmonic can also be found
in transformer internal fault currents if a shunt capacitor is connected to a transformer in a long
extra high voltage transmission line. Therefore, the methods based on the measurement of the
second harmonic are not sufficiently effective for differential protective relays [2].
Newly, several new protective schemes have been proposed to deal with the previous problem in
large power
History of the Temple of Heaven
History of the Temple of Heaven Temple of Heaven was built and completed in 1420 during the
reign of Emperor Yongle. All subsequent Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties used it.
(David Leffman) The emperor was regarded as the Son of Heaven, the intermediary between
Earth and Heaven. (David Leffman) Sacrifices to heaven were extremely important, to indicates
His respect and dedication to the source of His authority. The most important ceremony occurred
when the emperor prayed for good harvest, and took place on winter solstice. (David Leffman)
After three days of fasting, the emperor and his entourage, wearing splendid robes, would make
their way to the park on the day before the solstice. (David Leffman). The commoners are
prohibited to perceive the procession. They had to bolt their windows and remain in silence
indoors throughout the event. (David Leffman) Upon arrival at Tian Tan, the emperor meditated
in the Imperial Vault. (David Leffman) The next day, he carried out animal sacrifices before the
Throne of Heaven at the Round Altar. (David Leffman) Attentions to details were required in the
rituals due to numerological theories. The ceremony had to be perfectly completed, for the
smallest of mistakes would denote as a bad omen for the whole nation in the coming year. (David

A Brave New World by Aldoux Huxley
Imagine that by taking one magic pill, you could be at the top of your world. With one pill, you
could find complete happiness and unmatched physical fulfillment. In his novel, Brave New
World, Aldous Huxley uses the drug Soma, to give the characters all of the benefits of
fulfillment, both physically and spiritually, yet ironically, as the drug plays out its role, the
fulfillment leaves its consumer empty. The drug, Soma, is used almost a comically large
amount, as the characters take a gramme anytime they feel like an uncomfortable situation is
approaching. In Chapter 3, Henry Foster forcefully pressures Bernard Marx into taking Soma,
All the advantages of Christianity and alcohol; none of their defects (Huxley 54). Preceding this,
it was agreed by a few of the characters that Marx was looking glum. It was being explained to
him how this perfect drug was engineered and it was described as euphoric, narcotic, and
pleasantly hallucinant. Take a holiday from reality whenever you like, and come back without so
much as a headache or a mythology (Huxley 54). Soma gives you the joy that you would
experience through Christianity, or possibly by being drunk, though it only lasts while you are
high. Once they come down from the effects of drug, they don t have any of the symptoms of a
hangover, but they return back to the sad, controlled lifestyle that makes them want to take Soma in
the first place. If the characters are not on Soma, they are just as brainless, if not more
