The Pros And Cons Of Forced Sterilization
Forced sterilization, also called eugenic sterilization, is a procedure commonly performed on women
as a way to permanently prevent that woman from having future children, and is still being practiced
today in many countries around the world, including the United States.
Sterilization abuse is a practice in which the woman is either unaware she is being sterilized, or she
has been coerced or deceived into getting the procedure done by either being told it is a temporary or
reversible procedure, or being told that by not consenting, there would be negative impacts to her
immigration, housing, government benefits, or parenting.1 This method, which has been
documented in the United States starting around 1907, was commonly used on poor, disadvantaged,
unwed, mentally disabled women, children, and even some men, including many people within a
minority group, as a way to control their fertilization and combat overpopulation.
This gave the government the ability to decide who was incapable of regulating their own
reproduction abilities which is what was used to justify the use of forced sterilization in these groups
of people. It wasn t until the 1970 s that federal legislation passed a sterilization policy to prevent
sterilization of women without their consent, but the caveat to this was those women who it applied
to were those who received government assistance for medical care.2 This was their way of making
an attempt to allow women to have control over their reproductive

BENEFITS OF THE BARCODING SYSTEM TO THE COMPANY Sales based ordering: sales
information from the checkout is used to create the orders for stock replacement. Improved
productivity: there is no longer a need to price each item individually. Prices are provided on the
front of the shelves on which the items are displayed. Weighing and pricing at the checkouts
eliminates the need for separate price points. Improved customer service: new services such as
loyalty cards, multisaver, etc. mean that customers enjoy a better service. Reduced stock levels:
more efficient stock control means lower stock levels are needed, so less money is tied up in
stock and there is less likelihood of running out of certain items on the sales floor. Improved
checkout currency: it is no longer possible for the till operator to key in the wrong price, so there
are fewer errors and less fraud. Faster and more efficient throughput: there is, on average, a 15 per
cent saving in time to register the goods in a shopping trolley compared with the manual system.
Promotional and sales analysis: scanned data can be used to effectiveness of special promotions
and can provide information about the sales of certain goods. Reduced wastage: perishable goods

His house was beside a very busy road that was a part of a truck route, and his daughter s cat had
been hit and killed by one of the many passing trucks. Three days after he buried his daughter s cat
he got the idea for the book when he wondered what it would be like if the cat would come back to
life after being buried in a Pet Cemetery. Then one day, his son, Owen, ran towards the busy road,
and he and his wife had to catch him before he could reach it. This gave him the idea of a child
being killed and brought back to life in the Cemetery. After he got the two ideas he began writing Pet
Sematary.
The protagonist of Pet Sematary was Louis Creed. Louis was the husband of Rachel Creed, and he
was the father of Gage and Eileen (Ellie). Louis and his family moved from Chicago to a busy
road in Ludlow, Maine when Louis got a job at the university as a doctor. Once Louis and his
family moved into the house in Ludlow, odd things began to happen. A few days after the family
had settled in their neighbor, Jud Crandall, took the family up to the pet cemetery not far from
their house. On Louis s first day working at the university a boy named Victor Pascow was hit by
a car and died in Dr. Creed s care. Before dying, Victor muttered about the Pet Sematary which
scared Louis. A few months later on Thanksgiving night, Ellie s cat, Church, was struck by a car
while crossing the road. Jud and Louis found the cat with a broken
