What I Learned From The National Little Britches Rodeo...
Embarrassment can be one of the hardest pills to swallow; I know this because of firsthand
experience. As humans we go through humiliation all the way through life. I do not know a single
person who went through life without a moment of discomfiture, if someone has then they must not
live a very audacious life. My personal experience was not only utterly embarrassing but also
broadcasted on national television. I was competing in the National Little Britches Rodeo
Association Finals at the Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo, Colorado. I have never been one
to mull over a certain moment but incidents like this tend to stick with you. What I learned from
this experience, I will never forget. I have been in the world of rodeo since the day I was born.
My father and sister have always been involved, along with other members of my family: such as
my uncles, aunts, and cousins. I guess you could say that rodeo is a family affair, so indubitably
I also fell into suit and began my own rodeo career. I have had successful and not so successful
intervals throughout the course of my rodeo pursuits; either way each and every one of them
have been memorable in their own right. I started competing at the age of ten on a horse that my
family called Dewey. Dewey was a sorrel gelding that my father roped off of and I ran barrels on. He
was the type of horse that was lazy and only moved by force; we were alike in this way. We had
constant success as a duo, I wouldn t have traded him for
Social Support Groups Can Benefit People Suffering Diseases
Social support is that human and material support offered to people suffering from various diseases
or various body inabilities. The support could in the form of material things such as money, food,
clothing and shelter. The other support is in the form of offering services such as washing clothes,
cooking, loving and caring about those suffering from deadly diseases or having health
dysfunctions. The social support could be initiated and contributed by one individual, a group or
community at large. The social support groups benefit people suffering various diseases such as, HIV
/AIDs, cancer, Backbone injuries, the blind, the dumb, hearing impaired people and many more in
different manners. (Jeong, 2011) The social support has focused on ensuring a better life for people
with no hope of their tomorrow. Even though there are many setbacks facing the social support to
the outcasts in the community the current available groups have done to their best in ensuring a
better environment for those with several inabilities in the community. From the various researches
about the effectiveness of support groups, it is correct to say that social support parties are doing
great in the society. In other dimensions, social support could be in form guidance and counseling in
matters such as rape, early pregnancies, Female genital mutilation campaigns and many other mostly
social evils affecting our communities today. In this analysis focuses on the role and effectiveness of
social support
The Judiciary System
The Judiciary System: A Firm Reprimand Leading to a Brighter Path
Whenever heinous crimes happen, people call for severe punishments to be brought upon the
offenders. Public sentiments get so intense, in fact, that courts will often hold tougher trials and spur
prosecution investigations. However, there are cases when offenders get a lesser sentence than the
public sentiment sees fit, especially when the offenders are juveniles. The grounds for the judicial
system s leniency are that the reform of offenders is important, that law severity doesn t influence
crime rate, and that second convictions can be prevented.
Lenient criminal punishment can make way for juvenile reform and re education. One of the
foremost objectives of the juvenile court is to help guide delinquents into a better track and make
sure that they repent and don t commit the same mistake again. The reason their crime is viewed as
a mistake is that a person is greatly influenced by the environment during their youth. An analysis of
criminal background shows that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Those who argue against courtroom leniency say that juveniles will refrain from committing crimes
if the punishment is severe enough. However, the link between crime rate and law severity is
ambiguous because sanctions only work when juveniles are aware of the penalties they may face and
also the likelihood of getting caught. In fact, research has found that few juveniles even knew about
related laws, let alone thought that they would get caught and face serious punishments (Redding 4).
Due to this kind of immaturity on the juvenile offender s part, it cannot be expected of them to
weigh out the consequences of their actions. Accordingly, it is not rational to strengthen sentence
severity since juveniles can t foresee the fallout and, consequently, the judicial system would not
actually reach its goal of juvenile crime
Cardinal Richelieu Response To Poor Dbq Essay
Life in Europe during the 1500 s and 1600 s was full of reformation, wars of religion, and
exploration of new places and ideas. The poor were greatly affected during this time. They were part
of the church reformation when Martin Luther separated from Catholic Christendom and created his
own church. In religious wars, like the Thirty Years War, the poor were usually the people fighting
which had a tremendous impact on their lives and families. With the growth of exploration, the poor
moved around which affected their community. The attitudes and responses towards the poor in
Europe between 1450 and 1700 included that they were undeserving and lazy; they needed help,
should be put to work, and should be given help.

Many people had an attitude ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Cardinal Richelieu was serving as a royal councilor he said that the poor who able to work
should be employed on public works (Doc. 2). Essentially, he is saying that the poor that are able
bodied should work in the community. The poor shouldn t just be left sitting on the streets
begging, they should be working to earn their nourishment, if they are permitted to do so. A town
council in Rouen, France has very similar ideas to that of Richelieu. They say that beggars
unwilling to work should be kicked out, but those who can t find a job should be put to work in the
city (Doc. 4). Furthermore, they are conveying the fact that the poor should be working in order to
create a better thriving community. There are plenty of opportunities for work in the city, so those
unwilling to work should be exiled. In a painting by Rembrandt van Rijn, it shows a family with all
their belongings collecting money from a man in his house (Doc. 5). His painting is showing how
poor should be given alms. He creates sympathy for the poor by having children and the family
carrying all their belongings in the picture. The response shown by this painting is that you need to
give help to the poor. These examples show that the responses towards the poor were to make them
work or to assist
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles ( Uavs )
Drones, or formally referred to as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), are machines that primarily
controlled through remote controls or computers. Individuals on the ground are the ones who
usually control the flight of this vehicle through a remote control. However, depending on the type
and model of the drone, autonomous flight can occur through the embedded computer systems of
the drone. Due to the vast amounts shapes and sizes of drones, there is not set standard when
classifying this type of vehicle (Corrigan, 2015). However, the military does use a system for
classifying the size of drones as this technology is used regularly in this area. This system will be
discussed in further detail in the later portions of this section. Drones... Show more content on

Numerous propellers are manufactured out of plastic and carbon fiber, which is often reserved
for drones of higher quality (Corrigan, 2015). To limit the amount of damage done to the
propellers, propeller guards can be purchased and used to prevent unwanted outside contact with
the drones. These guards also ensure the safety of individuals both controlling the drone remotely
and those who may be located near the flight path. Significant amounts of innovation are
occurring with this particular drone component. As the quality of propellers increase, the better
the flight experience will be for owners. One of the sizable innovations in this area involves low
noise propellers as drones are often known for making a buzzing sound as they fly through the air.
Pusher Propellers As stated in the name, these propellers are responsible for pushing the drone
through the air and are located at the rear of the drone. However, unlike the standard propellers
located at the front of the drone, these actually rotate opposite of the direction of the standard
propellers (Quimby, 2015). This action cancels out motor torques during stationary flight. These
propellers, same as the standard propellers, are also made of either plastic and carbon fiber. In
addition, drone propeller guards can be bought and placed around the propellers. Brushless Motors
Brushless motors are considered to be a high performance motor that is capable of providing large
amounts of torque over a vast speed

companions with different personalities who develop an untrustworthy love affair as they travel

The key issue is education system effect on economic development, which is one of the main
measurements of competitiveness. Education has long been viewed as the way of economic growth.
Theoretically it is emphasized that it has at least three mechanisms through which education can
effect on economic growth. First, education can increase human capital, which is known today as
employment, and it can have resulted on labor productivity. (Mankiw et al. (1992)) Second, there
will be an increase in the innovative capacity of the economy and the new knowledge on new
technologies, products, and processes promotes growth. (Lucas (1988), Romer (1990), Aghion and
Howitt (1998)) Third, education can make the diffusion and the transmission of knowledge the way
easy, and to successfully assess and implement the new technologies needed devised by others,
which will also be a method of economic growth. (Nelson and Phelps (1966), Benhabib and
Conflict Between Native Indians And The White English...
Although white European settlers and the native Indians had existed moderately peaceful for
around 40 years pressures rose in the mid seventh century. Conflict arose due to decline in Indian
territories, population, and their cultural integrity. These differences ultimately lead to conflicts in
which collectively became known as King Philip s War. What types of complaints did the Indians
have against the settlers? How were the Indians expected to survive if the settlers kept taking their
land? The primary sources in this collection of source documents touch upon on what each group
(Indian or white settlers) did to survive: an excerpt from a narrative written by John Easton, a
second hand account written by Thomas Church, a report written to the English leaders by Edward
Randolph, a petition written by an Indian named William Nahton, and an excerpt of an account from
a book written by Mary Rowlandson. These documents illustrate the main causes that sparked the
war between the Native Indians and the white English settlers, narratives written by both sides to
find peaceful solutions, and actual accounts of people who survived the conflict. The second hand
account written about Benjamin Church s meeting with the Indian group known as the Sakonnet
Indians displays that the Indians knew their only chance of survival was to fight while the report
written to English leaders by Randolph suggest that the settlers who viewed the Indians as
uncivilized had ultimately forced the Indians
Manage Risks
Identify, Assess and Manage Risks
During the period November 2006 to June 2011 I was employed by RF Industries (RFI). RFI is a
nationally represented company within the telecommunications industry that designs, manufactures
and distributes wireless technology products. In 2010, the E AUTRY project commenced,
sponsored by the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), for the development of a
man portable UHF/VHF radio repeater allowing radio communication extension for field troops. I
was appointed Project Manager, as such, one of my responsibilities was the management of project
risks.
As part of project start up activities, which included the creation of Project Management Plan and
Schedule, I also created a Project Risk Management Plan. This plan outlined how risk identification,

The meeting was as forum to brainstorm foreseeable project risks as well practical mitigation
strategies. I conducted post analysis of this information, including risk categorization, and risk
applicability to project stage. This information was compiled and entered into the Risk Register
before being shared with all stakeholders.
To actively manage project risks, I understood ongoing communication with the project team was
essential. The established weekly team meeting provided the opportunity to discuss risks related to
immediate development activities. In addition to discussing the active mitigation to known risks,
new risks were uncovered and added to the risk register for subsequent mitigation. As the project
timeline progressed new risks were identified, these were subsequently included in the risk register,
monitored and prioritised. As existing risks were mitigated they were marked as closed removing

Osteopathic Doctors
Throughout time, the average person seeking medical treatment seem to have a large tendency in
favoring medical attention from an Allopathic physician Medical Doctor vs. an Osteopathic
physician Doctor of osteopathic medicine. Majority of society have a common misconception of
both practicing physicians when it comes down to actual diagnosis and treatment. Although both
may seem different in title, Allopathic MD vs Osteopathic DO, these doctors are in fact very
similar in ways of their schooling/licensing, ability to perform surgery, and prescribing wide
varieties of medications.

Allopathic doctors have been around much longer than Osteopathic doctors, but both are equally
educated and trained in the practice of medicine. Allopathic doctors must attend 4 years of medical ...

Also, after completing mandatory education, both doctors are tested and licensed through the same
state licensing boards required to practice medicine in all states. Similarly, Allopathic as well as
Osteopathic doctors have the ability to become a specialist in specific branches of medicine to
include surgery. Osteopathic doctors may begin their approach in a more holistic way, nevertheless,
have the same medical training as an
Allopathic doctor to treat their patient with surgical intervention. Allopathic philosophy is focused
on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and in contrast, Osteopathic philosophy emphasis that all
bodily systems are intertwined and depend on another. Surgical candidates evaluated by either

Surgical approaches are a very common confusion amongst many in society. Allopathic doctors as
well as Osteopathic doctors are required to attend the same type of residency in order to become
surgeons, and all surgery cases are done no differently upon the schools
