Job Responsibilities:

 Lead Engineers, staff and accountability of all the projects across MEP Division.
 Review the general contract and related contract documents and confirm the budget
setup and project milestones in conjunction with Project Lead & ensuring the work is
being done with project time program.
 Project Execution Making the plan for site mobilization, initial construction plans site
mobilization and resource planning.
 Submit shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submittals and get the same
approved from consultants, clients.
 Prepare Project scheduling, allocation of works to various teams, labor groups &
subcontractors and conduct daily, weekly meetings with staff, suppliers, and
subcontractors.
 Monitor the works across all sites and execute as per approved method statement,
drawings and as per main contractor’s requirement.
 Make quality and safety plan and ensure implementation of that.
 Avoid occurrence of Site Instructions and Non-Conformance reports and close the
same if any immediately.
 Make billing schedule and collection of payments from clients.
 Maintain the profitability of the company and company’s overall image in good shape.
 Assist other departments for technical support.
 Develop a training program for new recruits and engineers.
 Keep Commercial Control on the operations of the projects
 Take lead role in procurement process to minimize the cost incurred and increase
profitability of the project.

 Ensure that adequate & proper types of Fire Extinguisher are available, maintained &
ensure proper maintenance record.

 Ensure electrical equipment (panels, cords etc.) are properly managed in accordance
with legal requirements with appropriate records.
 Ensure emergency lights / arrangements (having separate wiring) are available on the
premises in the event of a power outage & properly maintained & recorded.
 Ensure all the premises/work/storage area are having well lighted and adequate
ventilation/exhaust facility
 Compare between Tender, contract& shop drawing and Raise RFI for the changes,
submit request for Variation, and prepare variation Log.
 Installation MEP H/L including water meters room on modeling systems.
 Design &Preparation of Pipe size calculation, Pump Head & flow calculation, water
demand calculation, Heat load calculations, Duct size, ESP,etc.
 Control the required labor as per project time program and making Cost to complete
sheet (CTC) .
 Pay more attention to long lead items approval & delivery to be as per project
program.
 Ensure all NCR’s are closed.
 Comparison materials prices and order materials with respect to price, approvals.
 Attend weekly meeting with the client, consultant, main contractor, subcontractors
and other involved parties.
 Issue MR, LOI, LPO, Contracts and letters as required.
 Coordinate with all parties such as main contractor, subcontractor, civil Engineers.
 Arrange meeting with site Engineers, foreman & charge hand for site progress and
requirements, Monitor& Control site activities coordinated with site team.
 Certify subcontractor monthly Payment and submit to head office.
 Prepare cash flow, monthly payment and get the payment certificate from main
contractor.
 Issue notification letters to the main or Sub contractors in case any delays.
 Install water supply, Drainage, external services, Nitrogen, Air Compressor & LPG
work, solar systems as per approved service, Coordination, Builder’s work, RCP
drawings& Install HVAC systems as per ASHRAE /SMACNA Standards.
 Handle site mechanical work such firefighting (fire pump, hose reel, pillar hydrant,
pumps, underground piping, sprinkler, FM200 and Foam water deluge as per NFPA
and civil defense requirements).
 Getting Dewa approval for handled projects including shop drawing, estimation &
Dewa Meters installation.
 Follow up BMS provisions, Electrical loads, Estidama Requirements/Green buildings.
 Good Knowledge about electrical system, Fire Alarm system.
 Prepare method statement for installation, T&C of Mechanical systems, check list, as
built drawing. , O&M, T&C, snags, de snags and handing over the project.
 Handing over the project to, DCD , life & safety third party & MEP T&C third party
 Follow up the maintenance works during the DLP Meeting with end user, FM team.
