Role Of Girish Karnad
The Man And The Writer Godugunuri Prasad
Girish Karnad is one of the foremost playwrights of the contemporary Indian stage. He has given
the Indian theatre a richness that could probably be equated only with his talents as an actor
director. His contribution goes beyond theatre: he has directed feature films, documentaries and
television serials in Kannada, Hindi, and English and has played leading roles as an actor in Hindi
and Kannada art films, commercial movies and television serials. He has represented Indian in
foreign lands as an emissary of art and culture.

articles, the most significant being In search of a New Theatre in Contemporary Indian Tradition, ed.
Carla Borden (Washington; Smithsonian Press, 1988) and Theatre in India, in Daedalus, Vo1.118,
No.4, pp.331 52.(7) While as Karnad is a multi faceted personality, it is essentially as a playwright
that he is at his best. He confesses, I have been fairly lucky in having a multi pronged career. You
know, I have been an actor, a publisher, and a film maker. But in none of these fields have I felt
quite as much at home as in playwriting. In India, unfortunately, the writers cannot live on their
writing alone; it does not yield enough royalties for sustenance. Karnad says, One can t earn a
comfortable living even from a successful play. Take Tughlaq,. As we know, it s been enormously
successful ¬critically as well as in performance. Playwrights in the west have been able to retire on
such successes or at least, to devote themselves to that activity entirely. I can t. Today Girish Karnad
considered one of the most significant Indian dramatists. He has enriched the Indian literary scene by
his contribution to art, culture, theatre and drama. It is most befitting that Karnad has been conferred
by the President of India, the prestigious awards, Padmasri in 1974 and Padmabhushan in 1992.
Also, he received the Gubbi Veeranna Award from the Government of Karnataka in 1997. Karnad

Auschwitz Birkenau
Auschwitz Birkenau.
In April 1940 the death factory was opened and it was the largest of the naziz death camps. It was
located by the polish city of Oswiecim. Rudolph hoss became the first commandant of auschwitz.
The camp construction took about 2 months. It was constructed by orders of heinrich himmler. The
word Auschwitz are synonyms of the words terror, genocide, and the holocaust.
In May 1940, poles were being executed and they were also, sent to do service at work camps. Also
others places such as concentration camps. The first prisoners that arrived at the camp in June 1940
they were almost all polish civilians and as administration and staff was established. Himmler one

experientor that liked to do experiences with twins or babies. This doctor was known as the doctor
of death .
Hitter later decided that he should do what he that that was right and he thought that it should have
been called the final solution . The final solution was just killing all of the Jews at once and he
started to just send naziz to kill all Jews because he believed that Jews were rats or the lowest thing
ever. With this assignment I have learned that this was just racism and hate. What fault did incent
people, children, and Jews have to go through. I hope that this is never going to happen again because
all of this happened just because of one man Adolf
Dell s Marketing Strategy Essay
Company Overview
Dell is among the world s leading computer manufacturers that has transformed and diversified into
variety of business segments over the years. Products range from Dell PowerEdge servers, Power
Vault, Dell EMC storage systems as well as PowerConnect switches for corporate clients. For
individuals and professional customers products range from Dell Precision workstations, OptiPlex
desktops, Dimension desktops, Inspiron and Latitude notebooks. Apart from these core products, the

Using the same infrastructure it has been able to carry out its marketing strategies in new offices as
well. However, Dell differentiate in its marketing tactics in that it believes in establishing a brick
and mortar market presence. This is why the company has established sales offices and
manufacturing outlets across North America, Europe, Asia and South America. This way it has
been able to gauge the local customers needs as well as services desired (Official Website 2004).
Apart from the above customer level niche marketing, Dell also believes in reducing competition
through collaboration. Unlike other leaders in the industry such as HP and Compaq, Dell does
not believe in taking over existing competitors to eliminate competition. Instead the company
have always pride itself in using partnerships and associations for integrated marketing. For
example Xerox s addition to the company as a partner for providing printing products and
services has served the purpose of integrating one more technology to its lists of comprehensive
business services. As James Vanderslice, Vice Chairman of Dell says: By adding Xerox to our
roster of preferred printing partners, we are even better equipped to serve our customers with a full
range of office printing technologies that provide end to end solutions. The Xerox brand is
synonymous with quality, technology leadership and world class services. We share these core
values. ( Dell and Xerox
Reflection Of The Finding Meaning, Joy And Happiness Project
Upon completion of the requirements necessary to finish section one of the Finding Meaning, Joy
and Happiness Project, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy tracking my daily habits became.
Between the fitness log, eating log, and sleep log, I found it the most tedious to keep up with every
workout I did. However, once I got into the mindset of tracking these three areas every day, it
became increasingly easier to remember. The genetics/risktaking table also helped me to pinpoint
potential risks my family is accustomed to and figure out different precautions I can take to limit my
risk.
The first section of this assignment was my Fitness Log, where I kept track of my specific
activity for sixteen days, including what I did and how long I did it for. Initially, this log was the
most difficult for me to keep track of. I have always been fairly adamant regarding my fitness
schedule, so the activity itself was not a challenge. After completing the log, I got to look back
and see the pattern of my workouts which helped me to better understand the results. I noticed
my workouts consisted heavily of the three areas I enjoy working on the most; cardio, core, and
my lower body. There were days that I felt too sore to move, while other days I did not notice
much pain at all. The most exciting part of keeping track of my fitness was noticing the progress I
continually made, the cardio consistently got easier to finish each time, and the area specific
workouts also got less
Huguenots After Leaving France In The Late 1700s
Huguenots (late 1700s had went to Americas) French Protestants. The Edict of Nantes (1598) freed
them from persecution in France, but when that was revoked in the late 1700s, hundreds of
thousands of Huguenots fled to other countries, including America.
Historical Importance Upon leaving France, Huguenots took with them knowledge of important
techniques and styles that they gotten after gaining substantial rights in France which had a
significant effect on the quality of the silk, plate glass, silversmithing, watchmaking, and cabinet
making industries of the Americas of which many had relocated to along with helping France itself
as it had became a feared nation in Europe allowing for them to start colonization in the Americas.

A Clockwork Orange Dualism
Ultra violence, Controversy, and Reformation of Youth in Anthony Burgess s A Clockwork Orange
Anthony Burgess s controversial novel, A Clockwork Orange, depicts the life of a teenage gang
leader, Alex, as he storms through the streets of a near future society with his Droogs, or friends. Alex
chooses to live a criminal life, until he is arrested by the government and chosen for an experiment
that aims to eliminate his violent and aggressive tendencies with a controversial process known as
Ludovico s Technique. After the procedure successfully cures Alex, he is released into the streets as
a harmless man. Yet, he is also left defenseless and Alex soon becomes victim to the violence of
others. Ultimately, the procedure is reverted when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Because the fears of repressive governments exists throughout every society, some more than
others, the themes in the novel become not so distant. Reformation of violence is suppression of
of free will in that it aims to limit the choices we make to fall within what is accepted. In this
extreme form of social control, Alex is reformed to act as a civilized human. Violence, as a form of
rebellion, represents the ongoing struggle that youth, as a whole, deals with in order to fight against
the super powers, that aim to control them.

Microscopy allows one to view samples and objects that...
Microscopy allows one to view samples and objects that cannot be seen with the human eye. With
all the modern techniques used in the biology field today, microscopy is one of the most important
one that allows us to see a world beyond what our eyes limits us too. The majority of both organisms
that are helpful and harmful are too small to be seen with the human eye, and without the
microscope we would have not understood the mechanism behind the major diseases we know today.
Microscopyhas helped scientists produce antibiotics and antiviral drugs to treat the diseases that
once were in a world beyond our vision. There are three types of microscopy mainly used: optical
(light), electron, and scanning probe microscopy. Optical... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Fluorescence microscopy uses ultraviolet light as its light source that allows the resolution of the
object to increase. Fluorescence microscopy contains a barrier filter that reduces any undesired stray
of light other than the emission wavelength that might reach the observers eye. Light emitted by the
specimen s fluorophore for viewing is focused and magnified by the objective lens.
Electron microscopy uses an electron beam with a far smaller wavelength than Optical
microscopy that results in better resolution one can achieve. This is due to the fact that as
wavelength increases, resolution decreases. Electron microscopy allows for a resolution on the
order of 1000 times greater than can be achieved with light microscopy. There are two types of
Electron microscopy: Transmission and Scanning electron microscopy. Transmission electron
microscopy (TEM) is similar to light microscopy by sending an electron beam through a very slice
thin of specimen. TEM uses an electromagnet, a condenser lens, to focus a stream of electrons onto
a specimen that produces images of internal structures in 2 D slices of a specimen. Scanning
electron microscopy (SEM) produces 3 D image of the external structure of a specimen by
observing the surface of unsectioned samples. This is possible through the specimen being lightly
coated with a heavy metal that is constantly scanned by a stream of electrons to produce the image
