Baroque Research Paper
Baroque always thought to be an art period through 1600 to 1750 and the Baroque art was the
prevalent artistic style in that period. The art style was originated from Italy and related to counter
reformation. In Baroque period, artists were embraced elaborate ornamentation, dynamic, spectacular
effect, which broke through the calm, static feeling of classical art since Renaissance art period.
Also, it is an art style that absorbed lots of elements from theater, literature, and music and has a
strong relationship to the religious, which held the dominant position through the whole period. For
the Baroquepaintings, instead of depicting people s lifestyle, most of them were depicting the
Counter Reformation. Figures poses in the paintings are more precise and more like opera stage
poses. Moreover, Baroque paintings always exaggerated lighting and had intense emotions. During
Baroque period, group figures are one of the most importances for the sculptures and those sculptures
focused on the dynamic movement to convey human s energy. Another important thing is that the
sculptures in this period have multiple ideal viewing angles. Besides the paintings and sculptures,
Baroque style profoundly influenced the architecture at that time. The architectures mainly focused

The strong relationship between the religious and the artworks is a non negligible part. They are
just like the soul of an artwork in that period. All in all, Baroque is a word that not only limited to
a specific era, but also a style of art, which pushed forward the art history. Painting, sculptures,
architects are just small part of the Baroque art. The soul of it had spread all over the world and
permeated to every aspect of people s daily life at that time era. Even though the upsurge of
Baroque art had already faded, it is still one of the most glorious pages during through the whole
Essay On The Auto Industry
Canadian automobile makers and part suppliers are suffering due to the cost associated with
manufacturing within Canada. Directly employing 149,000 people in Canada, the assembly and
parts manufacturing industries play a significant role within the economy. Prior to 2005, numerous
factors combined to make Canada the perfect place for auto parts and assembly, including: a weak
Canadian dollar, low inflation and interest rates, a well educated work force, and a strong social
safety net provided by the government... (Cadieux, 2005) Due to international competitiveness
within the auto industry and rising wages, production costs within Canada have soared higher than
their international counterparts. The union wage strikes are producing a rift... Show more content on

Without capitalizing on economies of scale, the new companies would have a challenging time
managing their expenses. In addition, it is a requirement that the entrant has a strong distribution
network if they plan to assemble their vehicles in cheaper, emerging markets. Industry regulations
and patents also threaten new entrants.

The bargaining power of buyers within the auto industry is relatively low when looking at the auto
assembly brands, as there is an excessive cost associated with switching from GM to Toyota, unless
consumers have leased their vehicles, but brand loyalty can be strong. The number of cars on
Canadian roads sat at 24,269,868 in 2016, so the market has a high volume of potential buyers.
(Statistics Canada, 2017)

Directly and indirectly, the auto industry in Canada employs massive amounts of Canadian citizens,
like workers in steel, plastic, and other manufacturing services, along with the individuals who work
within the auto parts assembly industry. To compound the extent of the auto industry, the spending
power of the auto workers paycheques creates even more jobs. Due to the amount of jobs that hinge
on the auto industry, the Canadian government could be forced to act in support of the industry. The
fall of the industry could have catastrophic consequences that could ripple across the Canadian
economy, from east to west coast.
After the World Trade Organization annihilated the Auto Pact, an agreement between

DEOH 202 Assignment Student ID: 7559879

The objective of the assignment is to discuss the implementation of the management and
treatment carried out on the patient (18999). Patient X is a New Zealand European and age 36
years male. He was presented for dental hygiene care in May 2014 as part of his 12 months recall.
Patient X was hospitalised at an early age due to glue ear grommet procedure and later on with
ankle surgery from sports injury. As a result, he takes antifungal medications, Voltaren and Lamisil
weekly and annually as he is prone to infection. In addition to that, antihistamine is taken when
required to control hayfever. Patient X lives with his partner and is in full time employment. He had
not been a regular attendance until two years ago when he visited the urgent care with regards to his
restorations. He was later referred for periodontal maintenance. Patient was under the impression that
dental visits are referenced to restorative care rather than preventive. Furthermore, he preferred
seeking dental care unless it is necessary, such as pain and was not too found on the specialised
dental team. The periodontal health of the patient had been identified as localised plaque induced
gingivitis which generalised light plaque and subgingival calculus was evident. The following
discussion will focus on the planning, implementation and evaluation of the dental hygiene care.

Regular attendance for a routine dental

Gay People Do Not Make Them Right
There are white people and black people. There are straight people and gay people. There are
Muslims and there are Christians.
All these make up the great diversity of humankind, and all are good in the sight of God.
The fact that there are Klu Klux Klan amongst the whites; Niggers among the blacks, Gay activists
who are haters of all that is good and right; and terrorists who wish only to destroy everyone who
does not believe as they do.
Does not make them right!
Neither does it mean that I cannot speak my mind, give my opinion, call something, some action,

If you are Muslim, and your opinion of righteousness comes in the form of killing all those who

This brings me back to Christianity. It was Muslims who started and provoked and promoted the

Griet s Girl With A Pearl Earring
Life brings many points in time where a decision can affect your entire future especially for
sixteen year old Griet. In Girl with a Pearl Earring, Tracy Chevalier shows that the main character
is a very compassionate girl. Griet was born into a poor family living in Holland during the 1600s.
After her father is not able to work anymore, her familydepends on her and her brother to make
money. While her brother is working at a factory making tiles, her parents insist she become a maid
for the Vermeer family. She will only be able to visit her family on Sundays. Although eight stuivers

My First Vacation Destination
In the summer of 2016 my family and I took a 2 week vacation to a couple different locations we
all wanted to visit. We decided to drive to our first destination, which was a 13 hour drive! On the
way to our first destination, we stopped in Athens, Alabama to stay the night and aquire some grub.
We were able to eat some dinner while we were at the hotel and we ordered the most incomparable
pizzaever! The pizza place s name was Joe s Pizza The owner s name is Joe and has multiple
Guinness World Records for his pizza making skills. All the pizzas are hand made and put into a
brick pizza oven to accommodate just the right doneness and taste. Then after that mouthwatering
night in Athens, Alabama we decided to drive on and continue to our first vacation destination.
After a couple restroom breaks and some lunch we finally arrived at Splash Resort in Panama
City, Florida! The ocean was breathtaking and as magnificent as ever it was one of those how can
anything be so beautiful kind of things. It just made me speechless, the water was perfect, the air
was warm, and I just wanted to jump right in and start swimming in the water. While in Panama
City we did a couple different activities. Some of which included, obviously going to the beach for
a couple of days.
The we went to the Ripley s Believe it or Not Museum. (As a matter of fact I really enjoy their
book they put out every year!) Which was quite interesting if I do say myself. There were some
crazy things in that quirky
Kantianism And Altruism
Charity. Philanthropy. Altruism. These three words ultimately point to the single, ultimate goal: to
help . In fact, charitable giving is the act of donating money to a certain cause, so that more people
are helped overall. However, many organizations, such as the federal government, offer tax
reductions while other organizations offer other perks for charitable giving. Some see incentives to
charityas demeaning the virtueof selfless giving, yet these critics lose sight of the actual goal of
charity: to help other people in its cause. Charity is not to allow people to think that they are more
moral, but it s for the people instead. Incentivising charitable giving is not only just, but it is also
warranted for the final goal of assisting as many people as possible. From my observations, I first
look towards the increasing socioeconomic gap between the upper and the lower class. Indeed,
many wealthy people such as Bill Gates... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, incentivizing charity is morally sound in the two most major moral frameworks of
Kantianism and Utilitarianism. First, Jeremy Bentham wrote many papers describing the
philosophy of utility, where an action is just if it does the most good to the most amount of
people. In bringing incentives, we not only help more people for a cause, but we can all many
who want to give charitably a chance to do so by offsetting the cost. Under Kantianism, Immanuel
Kant also states that although charitable giving is itself virtuous, no one has a full obligation to
another human being. Beliweving so would then follow a radical, Marxist social argument.
Essentially, giving a reward to a person who gives up his or her own belongings which was
unobligated to be given in the first place is just in an of itself. In these two, usually opposing moral
frameworks, incentivizing charity is both just in each
Carbon Nanotubes
Carbon is the fundamental element for everything on Earth. All life on Earth depends on carbon.
Carbon has different forms of allotropes including diamond, graphene and charcoal. Carbon is found
in position 12, with 4 colvalent electrons. All the allotropes have different properties nd uses due to
how the carbonatoms are bonded. Carbon is able to single, double and triple bond with other
elements to form complex molecules. Carbon can also use its four electrons to form diamond, where
it is strong and stable, or three electrons to form graphitefound in pencils, buckyball or all forms of
nanocarbon including carbon nanotube.

Diamond has a giant molecular structure. Each carbon atom is covalently bonded to four other
carbon atoms. Since covalent bonds are so strong, a great amount of energy is required to seperate
the atoms in a diamond, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Carbon nanotube have many structures, varing in length, thickness, and number of layers. Carbon
nanotubes are graphene that has been rolled up into a tube shape. Most significant use for carbon
nanotubes is in structural reinforcement. Carbon nanofibres are extremely thin and light weighted,
weighing about twentieth of a gram with one whole kilometer long. However, it was discovered
that nanofibres are the ten times stronger than the strongest material, thus could strengthen almost
any material. One of the significant uses of nanotube is acting as a carrier to transport drugs into
the body. However, the use of nanotube in health care has become a debatable topic in today s
society. Even though a nanotube is able to keep a particaular drug safe in its cage until it reaches a
desired site where it can be released, scientists in Scotland have claimed that inhaling carbon
nanotubes could be just as harmful as breathing in asbestos. They stated that carbon nanotube can
cause mesothelioma, a deadly cancer of the membrane lining in the body s internal
How Did The French And Indian War Salutary Neglect
Great Britain at this time had many issues with funding themselves after exhausting resources and
political power, after the French and Indian War. Britain was slowly losing power trying to keep
the inhabitants of the American colonies at the bay. With a victory in the hand of Britain and one
of the bloodiest wars staining the hearts of the people of America in the other, Britain had to keep
itself strong, so the idea of taking their colonies quickly came to mind and keeping foreign colonies
in check was their first priority. There were many issues going on in the British colonies. One of

Analysis Of John Gardner s The And The Brave Universe
John Gardner s cleverly composed Grendel is a critique on the benefits and blemishes of both sorts of
perspective: the existentialist significance free universe, and the brave universe, where each activity
is saturated with reason and power. In reality, the book brings up numerous philosophical issues as to
the importance of life and in addition to the way people characterize themselves. Furthermore,
Gardner depicts persistent examination, and last endorsement, of existentialist perspectives as one
watches that the principle character, Grendel, is an existentialist.

In the wake of having completely perused the book, there is doubtlessly Grendel indicates
confirmation of backing in existentialism. The novel takes after the life of a ... Show more content on

Through his eyes are demonstrated the worthlessness of a sentimental standpoint and the
obliteration of a fantasy. On the off chance that the Shaper s vision of goodness and peace is a
piece of himself, not sit out of gear rhymes, then nobody comprehends him by any means, thinks
Grendel, perceiving the difference amongst reality and the courageous perfect (53). His
annihilation of Unferth imprints the typical pulverization of valor, at any rate in his mind; Such a
great amount for courage, he finishes up (90). Indeed, even Grendel s presence would appear to
invalidate the ideas of the Shaper, who lectures the excellencies of honor and fearlessness. On the
off chance that the world depends on good and bad, by what method can Grendel keep on
surviving? By what means would he be able to slaughter illogically consistently, convey so much
distress and torment to people, but nothing happen to it? It s all the same at last, matter or
movement, basic or complex, whether he murders or not (73). In the first place, Grendel chooses that
life must be without significance. Agnosticism is, of condemnation, a somewhat discouraging, if
freeing, approach to experience life, however such would appear to be the finish of the book.

With a specific end goal to comprehend what Gardner expects by this, one must take a gander at the
procedure through which Grendel turns skeptic. Mentally, Grendel is an intriguing character.
Otolaryngology Career Paper
The medical profession is often times lumped into the thought that a doctor is a doctor . Many
people fail to explore more into the specialized fields of medicine. There are 25 plus specialized
fields and within those fields there are many subspecialties ( Specialties and Subspecialties ). All
of these positions make up what is far too often generalized as the medical field . This paper is
going to focus in on one specialtyin particular; otolaryngology, often referred to as ear, nose, and
