Artificial Intelligence Is An Idea That Machines Can Think...
Artificial Intelligence is an idea. An idea that machines can think and make decisions just as us
humans can. With an ever growing knowledge of technology, we have seen a major impact from
Artificial Intelligence and it will continue to impact our lives. One future impact of AI is its use
in the judicial system. Judicial systems exist all around the world, in one form or anther, each
with different laws and policies, but all judicial systems can be significantly impacted by AI.
However, the question that arises is on a moral and ethical basis, should AI be used in the judicial
system? This issue brings much controversy as to whether AI can effectively make correct
decisions on its own based on the evidence that has been presented to them and in which ways
they are able to assist employees of the judiciary system. AI actually already play a role in the
judiciary process. They are used in evidence and document research to make lawyers jobs much
easier. I would suspect that AI use in data mining for e discovery might be one of the most helpful
advancements. This would include the ability to examine data for contextual relevance (5
Questions On Artificial Intelligence). E discovery is a very popular tool with lawyers as it is able
to perform tedious tasks, making their job much more time efficient. Artificial Intelligence has also
begun making serious strides in systems that can notify and update lawyer s research when relevant
changes to the law have occurred (5 Questions On

Global
Alien And Sedition Acts Dbq Essay
In 1798, the Federal Congress passed the Alien and Sedition Acts and presented them as laws
meaning to protect the United States from dangerous foreigners during the seemingly imminent war
with France but the acts really intended to weaken the Jeffersonian Republicans. These acts also
violated the rights guaranteed in the Constitution, making them unconstitutional and unnecessary.
The Alien Laws allowed the president to deport anyone he considered to be a dangerous foreigner
during peacetime and deport or imprison them during wartime. Additionally, the Sedition Act stated
that anyone who hindered the policies of the government or falsely criticized government officials
would be fined or imprisoned. Jeffersonians detested these acts because
To Be Thankful For Many Things
Always be thankful for what you have. I came up with this quote. I am thankful for many things.
These make up part of my everyday life. I am thankful for three main earthly possessions. Those
three are my house, my speaker, and my drumset. It is really cool to own these things. I am
thankful for many things. One of those is my house. I like my house because that s where I live. I
wake up there and that s where I go after school. I also like to decorate the house on holidays. I
help out with the Halloween decorations. I also help with getting the decorations out of the attic. I
also like my house because my friends live near it. I go to their houses a lot because they live down
the street. Overall, these are many ways to show that I m thankful for my house.... Show more

I got it because it was recommended and it was also a really good sounding one. Second, it s a
very clean sound with no distortion. I also got it because it s a useful tool when I m practicing
along to the track. It helps me hear the song I m playing. It also helps when I m warming up with
a metronome. Lastly, it s really fun to play music through it. I really like music, only if it s good
music. Also, when I m playing music, the speaker can get real loud. These are many ways why I am
thankful for my speaker
Essay On Chronic Pancreatitis
Chronic pancreatitis (CP) is a persistent inflammatory state of the pancreas. This disease is
characterized by progressive damage to the pancreas that leads to extensive fibrosis, loss of the
lobular morphology, and changes in the arrangement and composition of the islets. This is an
irreversible damage that results in impairment of endocrine and exocrine functions. The incidence of
chronic pancreatitis ranges from 3.5 to 10 cases per 10,000. (A. Catharine Ross, Benjamin Caballero,
Robert J. Cousins, Katherine L. Tucker, Thomas R. Ziegler, 2014). Risk factors of chronic
pancreatitis are associated with environment and genetic factors such as alcohol consumption,
nicotine consumption, hereditary factors, nutritional factors, and immunological... Show more

The nutritional management changes through the different phases.
During the early chronic pancreatitis total abstinence from alcohol and smoking is recommended.
Recommendations for macronutrient composition are 30% of calories as fat, and 1 to 1.5 g/kg of
protein daily. It should be given frequent nutritionally balanced small meals (4 8 times a day), and a
low fat diet, also it may be required multivitamin mineral supplement. It is recommended a low fiber
diet. High consume of fiber may absorb enzymes and delay the absorption of nutrients.
Late disease results in a decrease of lipase secretion. Medium chain triglycerides (MCT) may be
administrated to the patient if steatorrhea persists and weight gain is insufficient. MCT are rapidly
absorbed via the portal vein, even in the absence of lipase, although doses higher than 50 g / d
could have secondary effects such as production of ketone bodies, cramps, diarrhea, and nausea. Fat
soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K), vitamin B12, and pancreatic enzyme should be
Holliday In The Movie Tombstone
While Doc was still in Fort Griffin with Kate, he found himself in an altercation with a man
named Ed Bailey. Bailey was purposefully agitating Holliday during a card game, which would
end with Bailey pulling a gun on Holliday. Doc, in self defense (according to some), pulled a knife
and slashed Bailey across the stomach, cause blood the spill and Bailey to fall across the table
(This altercation can be seen in the movie Tombstone, about 12 minutes into the movie). Knowing
it was of good reason, Holliday did not run, and would later be arrested. This caused a group of
people to form to try and get revenge on Holliday, something Kate saw coming. Fearing for Doc s
life, and thinking quickly, Kate went to the hotel where Holliday was being held

Everyone has their way of accomplishment or an event that transition them from childhood to
adulthood. There s all types of accomplishments that will transition you from childhood to
adulthood. From my own experience moving out on my own because I was ready to become a
mother changed me from my childhood to adulthood at 17 years old. Becoming a motherto my now 1
year old was the biggest event that transitioned me from my childhood into my adulthood. Finishing
school with my GED is also an accomplishment of mines. What are some accomplishments or some
events that you went through to transition you from your childhood to adulthood? Firstly, being 17
and pregnant was not how I was imagining transitioning from childhood to adulthood. Knowing
Willa Cather The Outlaw Hero
A Living Example of an Outlawed Hero
Nowadays there are numerous parents that design their children s lives and take vital decisions
for them. In Paul s case: A Study in Temperament Willa Cather, the author, shows the reality of
youthful dissatisfactions and the common failure of families to understand the needs of their
children. Paul s character is very controversial. He is seen by some as a hero because of his
ethical goal, while others think that he is a villain who committed several crimes. In my opinion,
he is more of an outlaw hero , which is a person who takes the wrong actions for the sake of an
ethical purpose. Willa Cather s Paul s case: A Study in Temperament is a story about a 16 year old
named Paul, who is motherless (91). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The main improper action that he did to achieve his goal, was stealing money from the bank to
enjoy his first few days in New York. It is considered to be unethical, because he took the easy
way to get money rather than working for more hours to save money for his journey in New
York. The lack of parental advice, which is shown in the absence of his mother and brutality of
his father, is the main reason for his immorality. Paul never felt any love or caring from his father;
he just knew that his father wanted him to live an ordinary life like his neighbors. He happened to
be the young man who daily held up to Paul as a model, and after whom it was his father s dearest
hope that he would pattern (Cather 97).He never asked Paul about his ambitions and what he would
do with his future life. Moreover, he made him quit the job he loved the most, The manager at
Carnegie Hall was told to get another usher instead (Cather 101).Consequently, Paul wasn t able to
live another second in such a life where he isn t doing what he loves. However, he went for this
unfortunate soloution because he had a noble dream to
Analysis Of I My Dear And Loving Husband, And Christopher...
Poetry is a beautiful work of literature that expresses ideas and gives words and phrases intense
meaning that gets embedded permanently in the mind of the reader. It s an art mastered by only a
handful of talented poets who s writings stand the test of time. Anne Bradstreet s poem To My Dear
and Loving Husband and Christopher Marlowes The Passionate Shepherd to His Loveare no
exception. These two poems share a common theme of love that uses strong imagery, figurative
language, and rhymeto portray the strong love and desire the writer s poses for their lovers. Love
is a feeling that every living thing wants to feel and experience, many have found love like in the
poem To My Dear and Loving Husband others are left chasing it like in the poem The Passionate
Shepherd to His Love . I have experienced both of these dilemmas and because of my ability to
strongly relate to these poems I have chosen to discuss them.
Love is something that we as humans cannot help but want and need, it is a natural instinct and
desire that we seek to fulfill. In the poem To My Dear and Loving Husband the speaker has
clearly found that love. The main theme of this poem appears to be love and more specifically
marital love. The poet speaks of her strong and true love towards her husband implying that there is
no other wife out there that loves her husband more by stating If ever man were loved by wife, then
thee; (Bradstreet 976). As we read further down the writer challenges other women
How Does John Change In Dances With Wolves
In the film Dances with Wolves the main character John experiences many different changes. The
changes consider of weather changing, war battling, not getting along with the Native
Americans, and evolving on his own to being with people around him everyday that used to
torment John. At the start of the movie toward the end of the movie the setting and John launch
in place even though it was like a rough roller coaster ride. While being in the middle of the
plains; John was alone and knew there may be buffalo around but was not for sure. John
continued to mind his own business and do his own work around the area he was staying. One
day when he took an adventure he came across a red skinned buffalo that caused some issues at
first whenever John charged to the indians to let them know there was a buffalo. The buffalo
represent the indians more than they represent John. For example, the indians take joy in using the
buffalo skin as blankets after the skin shows it s been cleaned. Also, the buffalo are used for food.
For example, indians love to eat the organs and heart because buffalo meat feels them up. John had
no idea what indians used... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This fort was deserted, made of mud, and sadly abandoned. With the fort being made of mud it
remained cool on the inside at all times. When John had first come across this fort, he was
shocked because he was expecting people to be there. A couple days later, John wandered to
explore the plains for a couple of days and by the time he was going to return back to his fort;
there were soldiers that moved in . These soldiers; carelessly, turned John s fort into a prison.
Therefore, when John tried to reappear to gather his belongings he was beaten and tied down until
these selfish soldiers realized John was already living in this fort before they were. After all this
went down, John gathered his items and left to head back to his real
The Convention On The Elimination Of All Forms Of...
The Convention on the Elimination of All forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) is
a comprehensive international treaty, created to advocate for the rights of women s. It is a
highly ratified treaty since one hundred and eighty six of the UN s 193 members have agreed to
apply its principles to their nation states and to protect and fulfil its terms and conditions
(Wakefield 2010, p.22). The aim of the essay is to demonstrate the strengths of CEDAW in
promoting gender equality, whilst simultaneously study its weakness in order to determine
success of the Convention. This essay will argue that CEDAW has proven to be a successful
Convention over the years as it has become part of the global system of law due to its positive
influence across national and local system of laws of the states that decides to ratify it. The
Convention has also become a good venue for states, NGOS and women s movements to use in
order to explore issues relating to discriminationagainst women, as reflected in the case study of
Afghanistan. However, this is to a certain extent, as the essay will reflect that factors such as lack of
enforcement, overdue of reports, minimal individual complaints, issue of reservations, culture e.tc.
has impeded its potential and disappointed a lot of activists who had high expectations (Merry 2003,
p.942). Human rightsbecame known to the world in the 20th century, when it was established that
human beings should be treated with dignity and respect anywhere,
