Formative Reflection
1.Since completing my TWS integrated unit, I have discovered many things about my students in
relation to teaching and learning. First, I discovered their love and need of hands on experiences.
Every day that my students participated in a learning experiment, every student was involved and
excited to see the results of the experiment. They constantly wanted to be the, lucky volunteer , and
in their culminating project, I had students name their favorite part of the entire unit, and all 22
students mentioned one of the six experiments they participated in. Second, I discovered the power
of student directed learning. Half way through the unit I began placing students who showed great
understanding of the topics with students who had more difficulty understanding the topics of the
unit. On these days, based on the conversations I observed between students, the students really
enjoyed this opportunity of, being the teacher and their classmates enjoyed the experience of
learning from a classmate. According to Adam Fletcher, an author with a focus in K 12 literature,

The central problem in Flannery O Connor s story, Everything That Rises Must Converge ,
Maxine Hong Kingston s The Woman Warrior , and Toni Morrison s Recitatif , revolve on the
issue of race. Morrison and O Connor focus on the theme of race specifically between blacks and
whites in America. It could be said that Kingston s The Woman Warrior concentrates on the racial

makes it clear that the girls come from different ethnic backgrounds. At one point in the essay

The Jacksonian rhetoric of political democracy, individual liberty, and economic opportunity was
certainly one full of contradictions. Politically, while the administration promoted majority rule and

discrimination and supervising one of the harshest attacks on Native American tribes. While they

Raskind and Sadie Muriel Bishop. I was also the younger brother to my sister, Michael. My
parents both had their M.D.s, my father being an orthopedic surgeon and my mother a psychiatrist.
Growing up my mother was the more dominant one in our family. She allowed me to dress up in

The ISSA conference was very enlightening and interesting. Mark Rasch introduced cyber security
to us from a very different perspective that I haven t had anyone explore before. To some extent it
clears and clarifies some of the decisions that have been taken resulting in the many different cases
that I have read in the news regarding cyber security. The closest example that comes to mind is the
Snowden case in regards to privacy and security laws.
In addition to that, I concur with Mark regarding the laws that are stated that in terms of privacy are
not as transparent and certain loopholes change the way these laws can have effect upon an
individual, organization or an employee. As per what I understood from his initial remarks about
lawmaking from his early work experience.
The scenarios that Mark jumped into, being that conference a room of senior officials who have all
the authority and power that they need to take certain kinds of decisions that will change things
beyond our borders. It was an on the spot exercise that actually made me think harder and allowed
me to grasp better the basic knowledge and understanding of cyber security that I have gained

presence explains why Dunstan is conflicted throughout his life. Through Dunstan s point of
