Red Hot Chili Peppers Concert Report
A rock star is coming into town. It was meant to be a surprise. The Upper school held a contest for
its students. The game is called Guess The Mystery Celebrity. The students were given the chance to
find out who is coming to the school to open its new department.

A lucky student was able to guess the correct answer. Jack Catt and Daniel Smith guessed that Chad
Smith is going to be at the grand opening.

And they guessed right. According to The Comet, the two students will get the chance to meet Red
Hot Chili Peppers own drummer, Chad Smith.

Bedfordshire is going to welcome the Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer to unveil the new expressive

Aside from being considerably one of the greatest rock drummers in music, Smith is a vocal
supporter for education. He is particularly known for his role in supporting young musicians in
schools.

He has been lobbying the support of music education in the United States public school system. In
2014, he met with Michelle Obama and other celebrities at the White House during a talent show
event. The event was to raise awareness for Turnaround Arts. The aim of the program is to create
awareness and increase performance in the lowest ranked schools in the United States through arts
education.

His lobby for music education started since he was young. According to Chad Smith, he did not
care about science or math when he was in school. Music was his only reason for going to school.
Music helped him stay in school and eventually got him interested in other subjects. He graduated
successfully.

He hopes that music education would bring self confidence to students. Chad Smith knows kids need
Why I Didn t Free And No Longer A Slave
When Mary came to England she was legally free and no longer a slave. Having no friends and no
means of procuring a living, she was forced to remain with her master, still working as a slave,
though he repeatedly tried to kick her out on the street. Until she found a branch of the Moravian
church which educated and married her in Antigua where she found kind people who took her in and
cared for her when she was bed bound from rheumatism. They then introduced her to the Anti
SlaverySociety who not only championed her cause for freedom from her master so she could return
to her husband in Antigua, but also sometimes supported her financially when she couldn t find work.
I would rather work for my living than get it for nothing. They were very good to give me a supply,
but I felt shame at being obliged to apply for relief whilst I had strength to work.
At last I went into the service of Mr. and Mrs. Pringle, where I have been ever since, and am as
comfortable as I can be while separated from my dear husband, and away from my own country and
all old friends and connections.

At this time Mary was approximately 40 years old and despite the Pringle s support, Mary s master
wouldn t grant her freedom even with many offerings of money.
As she had no one to refer to for a character in this country except himself, he doubtless calculated
securely on her being speedily driven back, as soon as the slender fund she had in her possession
was expended, to throw herself

meanings, rather it be because the name means something different in a different culture, or just
because someone affiliates the name with the person. A name can have a large impact on how
people see you, who you are, and how they treat you. For instance, someone with a foreign sounding
name might be treated differently than someone with an American name, just because they re seen
as a completely different personby society due to their name. There are so many impacts on a
person due to their name. This impact could be from friends, society, or change even how you view
yourself. In My Name by Sandra Cisneros, we can see that her name means different things in
different cultures. In English my name means hope. In Spanish it means too many letters. It means
sadness, it means waiting (Cisneros). These meanings of these names aren t always true. In the text,
the author says she wants a new name. One that represents the real her, and one that doesn t
represent who she should be. I would like to baptize myself under a new name, a... Show more

Transference and Counter Transference

Harriet L. Wiley
Mississippi College

Abstract
Transference and counter transference are natural behaviors. The literature under review has focused
on the expression of counter transference and transference in many ways. The value of recognizing
both are acknowledged due to them being dually important by having positive and negative
behaviors depending on the approach. The knowledge provided would help provide insight and
comprehension reflected in the quality of care which the clients receives. Both transference and
counter transference will be defined and explained for a better understanding, ... Show more content

Conscious Transference is when a therapist chooses to share the affect the client is having on their
feelings (Fuertes, 2013). It can also be when a therapist share an experience they have that relates to
what a client is sharing. In this process, it helps the client and therapist understand each other better
and it allows trust to grow. The client should have several ways on how to approach or gain
perspective when it comes to communicating with others. Useful counter transference is geared to
the client and assists their growth, while the therapist can continue to focus on building a positive
relationship with the client (Oelsner, 2013). In order to have a positive relationship with a client
there should be a personal bond between a therapist and client. If trust is gained it should limit
counter transference and with trust between the client and counselor a level of comfort comes that
will help build a strong relationship. Developing healthy boundaries and being mindful of counter
transference as it can come into the therapy sessions will eliminate future issues and the therapist can
making the client first priority (King, Obrien,
Biblical Allusions In Beowulf
Beowulf is a poem written down and told in the Anglo Saxon era. It is an epic poem written by an
unknown author. An epic poem is long narrative poem dealing with the trial and achievements of a
hero or heroes. This epic poem is about the trial of a man named Beowulf who fights off creatures
and is king of the Geats. Beowulfis a primary epic because it starts in oral tradition and eventually
gets written down hundreds of years later. Beowulf was first poem to ever be written down in old
englishand it was translated to modern English by Seamus Heaney. It is believed that Beowulf
was originally written down by a Christian monk. This is because there are Christian references
all throughout the book even though the poem was originally spoken in a pagan, Anglo Saxon
way. Pagans are people who don t know of, or don t believe in the bible. Beowulf was one of the
first recorded bridges between pagan and Christian values and beliefs. An artifact is an... Show more

During that time Beowulf was orally told. Throughout time, it had slowly drawn in more and more
Christian references and biblical allusions. In the story while everyone is celebrating at Heorot,
they talk about the waters rising and drowning people for retribution. This is an obvious biblical
allusion to the story of Noah in the bible. This story that was probably added by the christian monk
who supposedly wrote it. Pope Gregory made christian rituals similar to pagan rituals and it gave
people hope and connected the two groups. For example, pagans celebrate the winter solstice.
Christians celebrate Jesus birth around the same time so Pope Gregory condensed the celebrations
together so that both groups were celebrating together. The celebrations were previously very similar.
This influenced many pagans to become christian. This is one of the events that started the major
transition between Anglo Saxon pagans and Anglo Saxon

The Atomic Bomb On Hiroshima
On August 6th, 1945, the Enola gay took off to bomb Japan, changing the world forever. At 8:15
in the morning, a massive, mushroom cloud rose over Hiroshima, Japan killing more than 70,000
people. The first atomic bomb had been used in combat. Then on August 9, another bomb was
sent in by the bomber Bock s Car. It was originally supposed to go to the city of Kokura, but the
weather was bad so it was redirected to Nagasaki killing 40,000 people. With the death tolls at
around 129,000, Japan unconditionally surrendered several days later ending World War Two.
Although, at the same time it put the world into a new generation of war. American President
Harry Truman s controversial choice to drop the atomic bomb on Japan had ended World War 2 but
consequently started the nuclear age. Since the surrender, Truman s choice has been the subject of a
great deal controversy, in large part because of the high civilian death toll. However, the choice to
bomb Japan had ended the long lasting war. Truman s decision to use the atomic bomb was
justifiable by Japan s refusal to give up unconditionally, the cost of the Manhattan Project, and the
high death toll anticipated from an invasion of Japan.
By dropping the Atomic Bomb, The United States was able to save American and Japanese people.
There were two strategic attacks on Japan: Operation Torch and Operation Coronet. Operation Torch
was to attack the island of Kyushu while Operation Coronet was supposed to happen at the island of
