Insurance is a very important factor to attaining...
Insurance is a very important factor to attaining financial viability in an economy. It is a very
difficult concept that requires a profound augmentative erudition of insurable interests, viable policy
holders, risk assessment and management. This essay seeks to provide an overview of insurance;
specifically on assessment, measurement and management of both man made risks and natural
disaster risks. The essay further highlights the re known formulas adopted in measuring man made
risks. In addition to this, it would provide a concise development and challenges arising out of the
use of the riskassessment formulas. Finally, the essay will highlight the difficulty, previously arising,
out of assessing, measuring and managing natural disaster... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This aspect increased maritime trade thus increasing the Gross Domestic Product of nations. Since
its inception, the concept of insurance has been revolutionized and is comprehensive enough to
cater for a wide array of risks: man made or natural risks (Westall 2002 p 95). Every insurance
company must as a prerequisite employ financial risk advisors. The financial risk advisors herein
are referred to as actuaries. They serve the function of assessing the risk of a particular policy and
prescribing the amount of premium payable as well as determining the financial viability of any
policy. In doing so, the financial risk advisors base their opinions on the historical information
available. There are two types of risks; manmade and natural disaster. Man made risks as is
ostensible, is derivative of man s actions. They include, though not limited to, automobile or fire
risks. Such risks are highly frequent and less severe; in respect to the insurer. Consequent to this, a
proliferation of information is readily available to estimate the likelihood of prospective loss. On
the other hand, natural risks are derivative of nature. They are less frequent and very severe.
Subsequently, information on the likelihood of loss and occurrence is minimal. This aspect makes
it very difficult to cover natural disasters. Be that as it may, as will be elaborated, the advent of
science and technology has generated a
Defending Sir Isaac Newton
I m going to be defending my client Sir Isaac Newton. Sir Isaac Newton was born in England of
1463 on January 4. He was the only son of a local farmer also named Isaac Newton who died three
months before Sir Isaac Newton was born. When Isaac Newton got older he started to study the
study of gravity and experiment of how things fall how we get up and much more. Sir Isaac Newton
made some pretty good discoveries And he was also very intelligent that is how he made them. The
first thing that he made was a telescope and he studied it but not only that he also studied the solar
system and found out how the planets have faces on them. When Isaac Newton got a little bit older
he moved to britain. He also made one of the most important books in the history of science. The
telescope he discovered wasn t an ordinary telescope it was a reflecting telescope. He also mad the
three laws of motion which is one of the most important things to do while doing science if you don
t do that you can t do science.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They were important because from then and today people need to use it to do science and other
daily stuff that they need to do. He also was very important to the world because if people didn t
know the three laws of motion today we basically wouldn t be able to do science because that is
how important he was he mad basically science because he was so smart. The church really
doubted Isaac Newton because of his work. The church hated Isaac Newton because Isaac Newton
thought that believing in god is idolatry and he thought that worshiping him is the worst thing to
do. So the church hated him for a long time. This is how I defended my client Sir Isaac Newton.
These are all the reasons you need to know about my client Isaac
Choice In Washington Irving s The Devil And Tom Walker
In all the books ever read, there is always one character who has made an important, life changing
choice. In The Devil and Tom Walker, by Washington Irving, Tom Walker was that character. He
was a sad man, he was always miserable in his marriage and with his wealth, especially. While
walking through the woods one day, Tom encountered the deviland they struck up conversation.
The devil proposed to him a deal, Tom may have the treasure buried at an old Indian fort, which
will bring him all the money he desired, for only his soul and must become a usurer for the devil.
At first, Tom did not take the deal. Howver, when he got home that day he spoke to his wife about
the encounter and she insisted he make the deal. His wife went looking for the devil that night to
reconcile the deal, but the devil killed her before she got the chance. After... Show more content on

The choice he made was to sell his soul and start a business for the devil if he was rewarded
treasure that had been buried. The want to be rich is what provoked Tom to settle this deal. In
doing so, he cost many people all of their money. Tom conned people and left them in despair, and
he sold his soul so he can be a rich and mighty man. He had been fooled by the evil of money.
Therefore, he will pay for his choices and the actions he committed. Towards the end of this story,
Tom begins fearing for his life, afraid that the devil was going to collect his soul at any moment.
He aimed to become religious, in hopes that will prevent the devil from coming. However, he did
not succeed and was taken away by the devil. The theme Washington Irving was conveying is that
money is not worth your life. You can be happy and poor, and rich and miserable. If Tom Walker
understood that, he would have led a life without the devil on his shoulder and without the fear of
the devil coming to collect
Time Travel In Ray Bradbury s A Sound Of Thunder
What if the dream maybe wasn t a dream? A dream that when we make a mistake we can take it
back. A dream that science fiction uses over and over. A dream where man is his own ally and his
enemy to leading to destruction. Where boundless loops and figures eights could happen. How
should we prepare for it? What are the steps to prevent problems? If you hadnt figure it out it is time
travel. Google defines time travelas the action of traveling through time into the past or the future.
Time travel is when you either go back or forward in quantum space, or in english in the time spans
of time.

The article ON THE PARADOXES AND ETHICAL IMPLICATIONS OF TIME TRAVEL says
If I were to travel into the past to stop the Holocaust from happening, and successfully prevented
it, then the current me would have no reason to go back in time to stop the Holocaust since it
never existed. This creates a paradox as the back in time me would not have a place of origin in
that timeline. As a matter of fact, we need laws to govern this great machine. Remember great
things come with great responsibility. Therefore we need laws just like we need laws to govern
our lives, society, and government as a whole. The article ON THE PARADOXES AND
ETHICAL IMPLICATIONS OF TIME TRAVEL says Suppose in the future, humanity creates
some standard of conduct, a time traveler s law code. The code must be primarily designed to
prevent logical paradoxes that could spontaneously appear especially from alteration of the past;
this would cause the system to crash, much like a computer system that encounters a fatal error.
Only after solving this dire problem can the code of ethics begin to worry about voyagers who
stay within the system but travel due to immoral reasons. We as humanity need to restrict the time
traveling into the past as much as possible for it would create paradoxes.By and large, by no means
, we are to ban time traveling all together for it has alot of benefits that could come out of
Theme Of Nutting By William Wordsworth
William Wordsworth s 1798 poem Nutting was not incorporated into his later great poem, The
Prelude, but as a singular piece it reflects The Prelude s recurring themes of reflection and memory.
Considered to be the Romantic Era s great poet of memory, Wordsworth aimed to publish an
autobiographical work of poetry which would detail events which he felt had contributed to the
growth of his mind as a poet. Nutting, written at the same timeas several other childhood
recollections which would later appear in The Prelude, details an event from his past which
contributed to his present. The past held an attraction for Wordsworth, as he believed that the child is
the father of the man, or, in other words, that childhood experiences define the... Show more content

It exists in the temporal space between the destructive young Wordsworth and the present
Wordsworth, as this self experiences a sense of pain when I beheld/ The silent trees, and saw the
intruding sky. The pain of remorse is inconsistent with a self which destroys mercilessly, and this
regret is what defines a self which reaffirms Wordsworth s earlier love of nature. The destructive
self is a felix culpa a phrase referring to the so called fortunate fault of Adam and Eve, which
brought about redemption as Wordsworth is able to reaffirm his love and respect for nature after
regretting its destruction. The rash actions of his previous self father a new self, one more certain
of itself. Wordsworth finds this self so crucial and valuable to his current self that he cannot
distance his present feelings from those of his past. The new self gains the ability to sense the spirit
of the place, just as the past self did, in observing that the trees are silent and the sky intruding. The
nook is no longer speaking to him, but it is once again described with the animated qualities of
silence and intrusion. The spirit does not speak, but it has returned from whence it departed and
intrudes upon Wordsworth just as Wordsworth intruded
Evidence Supporting Evolution
The Evidence Supporting The Theory of Evolution.
Evidence of Evolution.
The theory of evolution postulates that all life evolved from other preexisting life and the
differences are attributable to changes from generation to generation (Ayala, 2005). Evidence
supporting this theory comes from all branches of biology. Below is a list of five types of evidence
supporting this theory.
Anatomy. Physically shared features can often be traced to a common ancestors following
homologous structures such as the bones of animals(Khan Academy, 2018), or common embryonic
vestigial features (OpenStax College, 2013 p. 488) such as a tail and gill slits in human embryos.
Molecular biology. DNA exists in all know life forms, which supports the concept of a common
ancestor. Furthermore the minor DNA differences between closely related species points to a
common ancestor. Additionally, this taxonomy of life can be projected back to the three common
domains and the hypothetical progenitor of all life (OpenStax College, 2013, p. 531 532).
Accordingly, genetic mutation continues to shape life, such as the allopatric speciation of the Inuit,
who have a unique genetic mutation allowing them to resist cold, and live on a high fat omega 3
diets (Fumagalli Colleagues, 2018). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Species emerging after continental tectonic shifts tend to be isolated to their continent of origin,
unlike those emerging prior, which tend to be more widely distributed (OpenStax College, 2013 p.
488).
Fossils. Paleontologists study fossils using tools such as carbon dating show a pattern and a timeline
of emergence supporting the concept of evolution (Khan Academy, 2018). Although there are
significant gaps in the fossil records, what does exist supports the theory of
My Life In High School Football
Friday nights during the fall season are what every high school football player looks forward to.
After a long week of being yelled at, running hills, and practicing, all any high school football
player wants to do is run out of the tunnel with the crowd screaming your name and gear up for a
football game. However, I was not a Varsity player during the 2017 17 season. I played only
Junior Varsity which was nowhere near the same as Varsity football. I played on Monday nights
and only about thirty people would take the time to show up to a Junior Varsity game. Although,
one Friday night would change my football career and change my life. I was only a sophomore at
the time, so I was still new to high school football and I wasn t the greatest athlete either. I am on
my second year of highschool football, and now is when football got very intense for me because
the coaches were getting us ready for Varsity football. Early in the season our starting center on
the team got injured with a very severe concussion that kept him out the whole season. I was
playing Junior Varsity as a left tackle so I never thought I would have to play center. However a
few weeks and games went by and one day our backup center got hurt in practice. The next day
my coach called me into his office and said, you are the backup center now so i m going to need you
to be ready for the game this week if we need you. My heart sunk into my chest because I was so
nervous and scared at the thought of playing
Objectives Of Inventory Management And Management
Objectives of Inventory Management including warehouse management
Inventory management is part of the warehouse management and both of them are part of a bigger
entity which is the supply chain. The objective of supply chain is to minimize annual system wide
costs and maximizing the service level. To reach the goal or objective of supply chain, Inventory and
warehouse management have the following objectives that will help increase return on inventory
(ROI) and return on assets (ROA):
1.Maximizing customer service: Customer service refers to the firm s ability to satisfy the needs of
its customers. In Inventory and warehouse management, inaccurate customer demand forecasts,
changes in the original orders of customers, and the lack of management leads to poor customer
service level in terms of long delivery times, delivering the wrong product to customers ... Show

Inventory management: Inventory management is the total control of the inventory and lacking this
fundamental understanding can lead to big overstock, or backorders. Inventory management
includes: I.inventory accuracy: Without an automated warehouse management system, it is hard
to for a firm to be fully aware or accurate of the inventory it has on hand. Poor stock visibility can
cause excess or obsolete inventory which causes a problem if there is a demand and product
shortage which leads to unfulfilling or delaying the order of the customer. Also, excess inventory
leads to the lack of cash flow, wasting warehouse space, higher storage cost and poor customer
service.
II.inventory location: If the people working in the warehouse do not know where inventory is
located, they put the company at risk. Failing to know where the inventory is, can results in delaying
shipments because it will take the workers time to find the items which results in slowing operations
and increasing
The Doctrine Of Promissory Estoppel
Another aspect we must consider is the part payment of debt in order to understand how the
doctrine of promissory estoppel can be used to aid a debtor. The general rule regarding part
payment of debt, at common law, is that it is not good consideration to pay a lesser sum. If the
debtor does not pay the creditor all that he owns, the debtor has an obligation to pay the full
amount. The general rule was established in the Pinnel s case where paying a lesser sum does not
form a binding contract as there was no fresh consideration. However, within the part payment rule,
there are some exceptions. The main exception which we will be focusing on is the equity exception
involving the doctrine of promissory estoppel, where the promiseto pay a lesser sum is binding even
if there is no consideration.
As mentioned above the principle of promissory estoppel was introduced first in the Hughes v
Metropolitan Railway. In this case Hughes had rented a property, which he owns, to the Metropolitan
Railway Company. The tenants therefore had a six month notice to fix any repairs. However during
this notice period negotiations about buying the building from Hughes took place. At the end of the
six months not all of the repairs were carried out and the tenants were sued for breach of contract.

Liability Exposure Within Multiple Businesses
There is always liability exposure within multiple businesses, There is always the personal risk of
exposure to liability, this is considerably high; being a sole proprietor, they assumes unlimited
personal liability, also for breach of contract lawsuits. Under this business entity all personal assets
or put at risk for the sake of the organizations itself. liability deal with certain responsibilities of one
party or a group of an organization that deals with financial compensation, a sole proprietorship is a
businessor business owned and operated by one individual (Mancuso, 2014).
A number of business operations and behaviors can create liability exposure for diverse
organizational structures. There is limited partnership in some businesses this is being sued for
breach of contract, there is personal risk of exposure to liability, it can be moderate to a general
partnership, this can mean property, now, and severe liability can mean individual property that is
levied on partnership property that has been exhausted. Liability is not always based on intentional
actions or even being negligence, sometimes liability can even be a way to brokers the peace
between certain parties, rather than an injured party using more serious action (Mancuso, 2014).
There is always a personal risk of exposure to liability, this is considerably high; both the
partnership property (organizational assets) and individual assets are at risk; however, only a portion
of the lawsuit
Using What You Learned From The Inventory Do You Think You...
1. Using what you learned about yourself from the inventory, do you think you have high self
esteem or low self esteem ? What is one thing you can do to build your self esteem?
I learned from the inventory that I have high self esteem. I have high self esteem because I am
confident in my capabilities in school. I did not always have high self esteem I was discouraged
when I got a bad test score and my friend would say that she got a higher score than I did and rub it
in my face. It made me feel bad about myself and I thought I was not as smart as she was. Then I
realized just because I got a lower score than she did it did not mean that I was not smart it just
meant I was smart in a different way then she was. Some ways I can build my self esteem is don t
beat myself up over a mistake just learn from it and carry on, another one would be not to compare
myself to other people and point out my flaws. We are human so mistakes are gonna happen there is
no way to prevent them from happening but if we learn from them and do are best then we will
become a better person all together. There is always gonna be a person who can do something better
then you can but each person has there own special attributes that make them unique. ... Show more

Cash Flow Analysis Paper
The financial condition of nonprofit organization is directly related to how its cash flow is managed.
The manner in which an organization creates and controls cash establishes its ability to grow
operations, control emergency situations and benefit from investment opportunities. With sufficient
cash flow, an organization has capacity to operate in a current scenario. More than adequate cash
gives the organization a source of additional revenue, an operating cushion and liberation from some
of the daily grind of financial existence (McLaughlin, 2009). Accordingly, financial planning and
cash managementmust account for how the organization will source revenue, as well as how it will
grow revenue for operations and investments. As... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Analysis and timing of cash and cash equivalents directly impacts the organization s financial
position. Cash flow projections should be a continual process, which helps to determine whether or
not the organization has enough liquid assets to create cash in a crisis situation. The key to any
group is that cash flow be accurately recorded and that the report be scrutinized often to uncover
trends and changed that might need immediate attention (Matan Hartnett,
