Adn vs Bsn Educational Benefits

2012 ADN vs. BSN: Differences in Competencies There are two different routes to becoming a
Registered Nurse (RN). You have the Associates Degree Nursing (ADN) program which is
considered the fast track program taking approximately two years to complete, and you have the
Baccalaureate Nursing (BSN) program which requires approximately four years of schooling.
What are the differences? Here are a few of the differences that will be discussed; schooling,
mortality, safety, and positions that each degree can obtain. The ADN program was originally
developed by Mildred Montag... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Through all the changes that are occurred and will continue to occur the ADN nurse will have a
harder time finding a job in an acute care setting. Working in a long term care facility the routine can
become very monotonous with the same medications and patients every day. You have the same
medications and treatments every day unless there has been a change in condition of the patient.
With this monotony it is very easy to overlook a serious condition with a patient. Take for instance
you have a patient that continues to get skin tears/abrasions to their lower legs. You continue treating
these areas with the same order that you use every day on every other resident in the facility. You
notice the abrasion continues to worsen with every dressing change. The ADN nurse just continues
to treat the wound with the normal wound cleanser, triple antibiotic ointment and then applies gauze.
Charts that the area remains red with a small amount of white noted. Bilateral lower extremities
noted to have 2+ non pitting edema and redness. The BSN nurse would stop and critically think
about why these wounds are not healing. They would stop and think What else may be going on to
have the increase edema, redness and what else could be causing these wounds to not heal. The BSN
nurse would check into different treatments, labs and medications that the patient is currently taking.
With the increased education that a BSN has in critically thinking they would start asking questions

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Analysis
The Myers Briggs type indicator is a personality test used to make the psychological types
described by C.G. Jung more understandable and relevant to people s lives. The personality test
shows that random deviations in behavior are essentially not so random at all, but how people use
their perception and judgment. There are sixteen, distinctive personality types, that can result from
the choices of preferences. (Foundation, The Myers Briggs) According to theory, by definition,
one pole of each of the four preferences is preferred over the other pole for each of the sixteen
MBTI types. The preferences on each index are independent of preferences for the other three
indices so that the four indices yield sixteen possible combinations called... Show more content on

(BSM Consulting, Inc.) Currently, I am enrolled in school to become a radiography technician, at
this moment I am just taking care of my pre requisites, but once I am finished with school
completely my career choice will fall under the healthcare field. Previously, I have held jobs that
were customer service related, I worked at home for AT T as a customer service representative,
where my job function was to converse over the phone with the customers, and interact, either
through phone or through our work platform online with my co workers and supervisors, which I
did enjoy. Prior to deciding on Radiography, I had thrown the idea of nursing around in my head,
but I felt that the hours would be too demanding. Teaching, I truly admire those who teach, but I
would rather be around my own children, than some of the ones I have seen at my children s school.
Hopefully, whatever I end up choosing fits well with my

Feasibility Study BOUTIQUE (Women Designer Wear) INTRODUCTION 1.1 Project Brief The pre
feasibility study focuses on the establishment of women designer wear Kapra Boutique including the
operations of apparel designing, manufacturing, selling and marketing. The study has been designed
to capture the dynamics of the Kapra Boutique industry, with its many components and possible
strategic opportunities. 1.2 Opportunity Rationale Clothing is a beautiful visual demonstration of
the social and emotional needs of people wearing it. It also portrays in a clearly understood visual
manner, what people of different cultures and styles want socially. Fashion, through times, has gone
through so many rapid changes and bizarre extremes that it has examples of nearly every kind of
clothing function. However, in a Kapra boutique business, the specifications and descriptions of the
designs and clothes are so general that they can fit more than one costume, which actually are quite
different in nature from each other and this is solely dependent on the taste of the people. The range
of Pakistani dresses is remarkably wide, according to the vast cultures, geographical differences,
purchasing capacities, influence of the western culture, and bewildering diversities of
Monarch Butterflies And Habitat Loss Essay
Monarch Butterflies and Habitat Loss To begin with, this there is an estimated 109 million
monarchs this year in 2.91 hectares, and last year it was from 150 million in 4.01 hectare. The
butterflies are daing, and their population is decreasing, and there is a lot of solutions. For example,
people can make more habitat for the butterflies, stop cutting milkweed plants, and planting them.
The monarch butterflies will spend in Mexico their winter hibernation, and also in of Southern
California because in some parts it is warm all year long. But if the monarch lives in the Eastern
states, on the Rocky Mountains, then it will hibernate close to the Pacific Grove, California in
eucalyptus trees. The eggs are laid on milkweed plants in March.... Show more content on

The second solution is that people do not put any more pesticide in their plants and their farms
because then the butterflies are going to the plants and they are going die because of the
pesticide. The butterflies see the plants and they are going to rest there or they are going to
pollinate them, but what the butterflies don t know is that the plants have pesticide and they lend
on them and latter on they die. And the last solution is that people start planting new milkweed
trees.Because if all the people start doing it the monarch butterflies population will increase
because now they are going to have enough food for all of them and they are going to finish their
life cycle and they can do all their migration for their lives. All the people should be traing to protect
the monarch butterflies because they are one of the little things that help people live. But they are not
doing it because the butterflies population is decreasing.Like it show in the picture
Language, Language And Gender
As we all know, language is a very important role in our daily life and everyone on the planet uses
a language. Language is used in so many ways. It is assigned to every country, and usually every
country has its own language which is very unique. Whether one speaks or not, a language is still
used, either verbal or sign language is used. Now to note here, language is not used in the same
form by gender. Gender takes a huge role on language. Pronunciation and grammar are tended to be
used very differently by gender. Basically when it comes to language and gender there is a different
dialect between females and males in many countries and not just the United States. There have been
a number of languages recorded throughout the world that have some sexdifferences (Bradley,
1988, p. 13). There have been many papers and articles written on language and gender by
different researchers. These researches, include many from the book used in this class, are
fascinated and interested about the different language usage used between two different sexes. The
papers in this section reveal that there can be many different patterns of linguistic usage (Coates
Pichler, 2011, p. 10). In this paper I will be analyzing powerless language, usage between females
and males. I will also provide my study of interruption, overlap, and swearing in a mixed gender
conversation. My analyzation will consist of a thirty minute conversation between four individuals.
Among these four people are two
The Consequentialist Ethical Concept Of Driver To The Road
It is commonly known that many people that lives in England and for some reason they visit
others European countries such as France, Germany or Italy they have problems with driving
their car to the road because of the change of the side of driving the car. Deontologist Ethical
concept is the most suitable to argue of which side of the road should driver to drive on theirs cars.
This model is best defined as an action is right if it is in harmony with a moral rule or the code of
principle. Let s take the rule or an example, every driver of England will drive on the right hand
side of the road in the city of Liverpool. If you follow the Deontologist Ethical concept every car in
Liverpool should drive on the right hand side of the road in the city because it is the rule of law that
is establish.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
An example might be the same law in the city of Liverpool where all car or bike drivers will drive
their automobiles on the right hand side of the road, yet, if there is a good purpose, like a
medical emergency or fire or robbery and etc. a driver should drive on the left side of the road to
arrive in the destination quicker. This fact generate a question that, a driver who needs to go fast
in his destination and he is seeing a queue of cars ahead of him, he can drive on the left hand side
for a short distance as long as no one is coming.
According to with traffic laws this is wrong bit in deontologist theory should be the best way to
follow. With a consequentiality theory driving on this side of the road could be dangerous because
no rule or law is absolute and everyone must
Break Down Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates are one of the main types of macronutrients that move throughout the digestive
system. Starting inside of the mouth, the carbohydrate travels through the body until it gets broken
down. The mouth has two forms of digestion, mechanical or chemical. Mechanical digestion
includes chewing food, while chemical digestionuses saliva. The salivary glands belong to the
accessory organs of the digestive tract, but play a very important role in digestion. They produce
amylase, which breaks down the starch amylose and amylopectin into smaller portions. Breaking
down starch, is an example of where chemical digestion occurs in the mouth. When carbohydrates go
through the esophagus, mechanical digestion takes place by the use of peristalsis.... Show more

Fiber is the only remaining carbohydrate that travels inside of the large intestine. The body
eliminates the leftover fiber in stool. Just like carbohydrates, fats also travel through the digestive
tract. The only organ not involved with fats is the large intestine. Beginning in the mouth,
chemical digestion occurs due to the lingual lipase melting some of the fat in the food. Once the
food enters the esophagus, chemical and mechanical digestion takes place. Like discussed earlier,
peristalsis mixes the food, but in this case it involves mixing the fat with gastric juices.
Chemically, gastric lipase breaks down the fats. Before the fat can move to the small intestine, a
few important accessory organs play a role with fat and bile. Bile is produced in the liver, and then
sent to the gallbladder. Once in the gallbladder, the bile gets released into the small intestine. The
small intestine, helps the bile emulsify the fat into small globules. Lastly, pancreatic lipase, from the
pancreas breaks down the fats into monoglycerides, glycerol, and free fatty
