Survey On impact of social media usage on mental health among
students
I am an MBA student at the Institute of Business Administration, University of the Punjab,
Lahore. As part of my academic requirements, I am conducting a research study titled "The
Impact of Social Media Usage on Mental Health Among Students."
This questionnaire is designed to gather your views on social media usage and its possible
effects on your mental health. It includes questions related to the time you spend on social
media, the platforms you use, emotional experiences like Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), and the
role of parental monitoring.
Most questions are based on a 5-point Likert scale, where:
1 = Strongly Disagree
2 = Disagree
3 = Neutral
4 = Agree
5 = Strongly Agree
Your participation is completely voluntary, and your responses will remain confidential and used
strictly for academic purposes. The questionnaire will take approximately 5–10 minutes to
complete.
Thank you for your valuable time and contribution to this research.
