This subject introduces students to Jesus Christ as God’s Beloved Son, revealed in the
Sacred Scriptures. It traces His identity through the unfolding story of God’s love from the Old
Testament to the New Testament. Learners will reflect on Jesus’ life, ministry, passion, and
mission through a Scriptural, liturgical, and moral lens. Students are invited to encounter Jesus
personally and follow His example of love, obedience, healing, and sacrifice.

Meeting Schedule: 2 sessions/week, 1 hour/session

Christian Living Education 7 guides students to know Jesus as the Beloved Son of God
through the Sacred Scriptures. The course builds their understanding of God’s revelation,
Christ’s divinity and humanity, and His mission in the world. Through faith, morals, and worship
dimensions, learners are nurtured into becoming faithful disciples of Jesus, equipped to live His
Gospel in today's world.

COURSE GOALS (Course Objectives)


This course should enable learners to:

1. Understand the role of Sacred Scriptures in revealing Jesus as God’s Beloved Son.
2. Trace the life, teachings, miracles, and mission of Jesus in Scripture.
3. Deepen their faith through prayer, reflection, and Lectio Divina.
4. Develop virtues of obedience, humility, and love inspired by Christ’s example.
5. Actively participate in the Church’s mission through service and witness.

4. pass the Minor Examinations [Weekly Assessment Tests (WAT)] and Major
Examinations [Preliminary and Periodical].
