Theme: Explore, Imagine, and Create!


Dear kids, use your imagination and creativity—be a writer, artist, and storyteller! Do all work in a special
notebook and enjoy each task!

Day 1: Vocabulary Capsule (Synonyms)

Learn 30 pairs. Use any 10 in "GOOD MORNING POSTERS." Make tiny posters (post card size) with
cheerful synonym words. Keep them in a paper envelope and tie/paste the paper envelope in your
scrapbook!

Synonyms List:

Day 2: Vocabulary Capsule (Antonyms)

Pick 10 antonyms and make a “Flip-Flop Mini Book.” Write one antonym on one side and its opposite on
the flip side. You can spiral bind your mini flip flop book or simply tie with a thread or compile using some
creative way!

Day 3: Story Bag – “Magic Story Stone”

Paint 3 small stones or shells or cards with pictures (e.g., a castle, rainbow, and dragon). Create a "magical"
story using them. Title it “The Day I Found a Magic ___.” Write your story and paste your drawings and
make your story interesting!

Day 4: Vocabulary Capsule (One-word Substitution)

Make a fun Who Am I? Riddle Cards based on these 15 words. On one side of the card write the riddle
and draw picture related to it and on another side write the answer.

Day 5: Picture Dictionary Challenge!

Choose 20 challenging words for a mini picture dictionary.

e.g.: microscope, astronaut, binoculars, submarine, doughnut, umbrella, crown, cellphone, compass,
parachute, mailbox, headphones, xylophone, camera, painter, gardener, pharmacist, astronaut, theater,
treasure, rainbow, carpenter, screwdriver, headphones, necklace, microscope, volcano, planet, satellite,
skyscraper.

Draw/paste pictures of every word to explain it’s meaning. Use a small diary/scrapbook/flipbook for this.

Day 6: Idioms Fun Quill

Learn 10 funny idioms and doodle them! Also frame one sentence each for the given idioms. e.g., “Hold
your horses” — Draw horses tied to a clock!

Day 7: Guided Letter – “A Letter to English”

"Imagine English is your friend. Write a letter thanking English for helping you learn stories, poems,
words, and express feelings!"

Day 8: Alphabetical Order Mission – “Treasure Hunt”

Scenario:
You are a pirate! To unlock the treasure, arrange 15 items you find on an island in alphabetical order. (I’ll
give 20+ items). Design your pirate island map and write words in order!

Instructions for Students:

1.Draw a fun treasure map with a path leading to a treasure chest. Make small colourful chits of
paper and write the treasure hunt words on them. Along the way make various stops with a clue
(picture or hint word) to the word that will come there .
2.Scatter the below 20 words/items all over the island in a random way.
3.Use your brain and arrange all the words in alphabetical order along the way to the treasure hunt on
the map. Once you arrange all the words in alphabetical order, you’ll reach the treasure chest.
4.Color your treasure chest with gold coins and name it “Alphabet Treasure”.

Day 9: Crafty "Gratitude Jar/Envelope "

Write 10 kind words on colorful slips (caring, helpful, honest…) and put them in an paper envelope.
Also write the name of one of your friend or classmate on the other side of the slip
whom you want to link that quality with. After getting your assignment checked, present it to
your friends.

Stick/tie the envelope in the scrapbook where you are compiling your
homework.

Day 10: Leave Application

Neatly write a leave application to attend your favorite cousin’s wedding.

Day 1: My Little Garden Begins:-
Plant a seed in a small pot or garden space (like mustard, fenugreek, or coriander). Observe
it daily—watch how it changes!

Draw and label three stages: Seed, Sprout, and Young Plant.

Write 2-3 lines on what you noticed during its growth.

Day 2: Meet My Green Friend:-


Look around and find a plant or tree that you love. It could be tall and strong, tiny and colorful.

Draw a picture of it and write 5 lines about why it’s your favorite. Is it useful?

Day 3: Places Around Me:-

We all live in communities with helpful places like post offices, hospitals, and parks. Ask your

parents or visit 2 such places.

Draw a simple map from your home to those places. Use arrows, landmarks, and symbols
to show the way!

Day 4: Clean Me, Clean World:-


Make a list of 5 things you do daily to keep yourself and your surroundings clean (like brushing,
bathing, cleaning your room).

Draw one of those actions and write why it’s important.

Day 5: Waste Not! Create A Lot!


Find 2-3 used items at home (like an old bottle, box, or newspaper).
Reuse them to make something useful or fun—maybe a pen stand, a gift box, or a toy. Paste a

photo or draw what you made, and write how it helps save the environment.

Day 6: Save Water, Every Drop Counts


Water is precious. Without it, plants, animals, and humans cannot live.
List 5 sources of water (tap, river, rain, well, pond).
Paste pictures of any two and write 4-5 lines on why we must save and share water.

Day 07: My Nature Treasure Album:’


Go for a short walk in your garden, park, or near your house.

Collect 3 small treasures from nature (a leaf, a feather, a small stone—be gentle, don’t harm
living things).
Paste or draw them on a page and write their names and where you found them.
