Charlotte's Web

?^
Charlotte the spider is having a rest.

Her web is waiting for a guest.

A f lying ant is buzzi'ng near,

Rushing past the web without fear.

Lying still is the spider,

Observing the web with her eyes getting wider',

The f lying ant is now in danger.

To Charlotte it is a total stranger.

Evening meal is in sight,

Surely good enough for tonight.

What's up over there?

Exclaims the ant's buddy with a scare.

Bless Charlotte! Her dinner has gone somewhere.
